Eddie hears Buck talking softly with Theo in the background as he grabs Adriana and Sophia’s arms.
‘’Not a word to him,’’ he hisses at his sisters.
‘’About what?’’ Adriana smirks.
‘’About whatever you think this is. It’s not that.’’
His heart is beating so fast that he’s convinced that if anyone were to take his pulse right now, they would’ve wanted to admit him to the hospital.
‘’Oh, and what is it then Edmundo?’’ Sophia teases.
‘’And stop calling me that!’’
‘’I’ll stop calling you that when you stop being stupid mi hermano,’’ Sophia snickers again.
Eddie yanks on his hair. ‘’I’m in hell. I’m in actual hell.’’

Or: Pepa makes an embellished comment that Buck and Eddie adopted Theo (they did not, they are not together yet lol) to Adriana and Sophia and the Diaz sisters surprise visit their brother in LA. Going on vacation is made infinitely more complicated by adding a toddler to the mix, but Eddie was the one who insisted that Buck not be left out of plans they'd made months ago—before the Firefighter Games—just because Buck had acquired a child since the plans had been made.
