Summary
After Sonic's friends head out on their own solo-journeys and Dr. Eggman decides to retire, Sonic struggles to find a new purpose in his life during these times of peace and loneliness. Desperate for distractions, he starts seeking out thrill and getting into one mess after another until he eventually ends up back on Starfall Islands while stalking a shady group of "treasure hunters". Due to a series of unforseen events, the whole group gets involved in a major explosion, with Sonic becoming it's sole survivor.
The hero once again has to deal with being injected with Dark Gaia - while the last time it happened, the evil energy was unable to breach his mental defenses - but a fragile state of mind and years worth of unresolved issues which have all built up ever since then make this an entirely different case.
The weight of the past will eventually catch up even to the fastest thing alive.

Summary

Meanwhile, the protagonist is having a crisis over this strange, pale man who stumbled into his life, saved his sister, and started ruining everything. Yoo Joonghyuk cannot decide whether to execute him on sight or kiss him breathless.
Cue chaos.

Summary
Eggman has managed to trap Sonic, and sends him into the timestream to get rid of him once and for all. Luckily, Sonic gets rescued by… Silver?! Together the two hedgehogs try to find a way to get Sonic back to the past… but that is not as easy as it seems, and the fact Sonic and Silver’s past two adventures haven’t left them exactly friends doesn’t help matters either. But Sonic wouldn’t be Sonic if he didn’t tackle this problem with a smile and compassion galore, both of which enthral Silver more than the psychic realises. How might their relationship develop further? And what will happen once Sonic is able to go back to his own era again?

Summary
Going through the report has his brain gears steaming. It's a lot. Logs of vessel depth, design and composition (iron mostly, with the other metal trappings of a human design with electrical cables), radiation output and source (x-ray and a buttload of it!), readings and scans of the biomass enveloping the vessel (a tree, of all things). More blood readings because the thing was utterly flooded with the stuff (same composition as the sample he coughed out, lovely to know and think about), and the final logs of the containment and quarantining of the vessel inside the Blip-A.
The team was coming back home to Erid, and in double time. Because Grace gets to the important part of the report. Perhaps the single most important one since he arrived on Erid.
They found another human inside the vessel.
