Summary
“And there is no way of avoiding this?” Obi-Wan asked, wetting his lips a little. Healer Nav gave him a sympathetic look and patted his knee in a way that would have been condescending if he hadn’t known her since they were in the creche.
“You’ve been successfully avoiding it for twenty years Obi-Wan, I’m afraid not this time,” Nav replied, beginning to tap through something on her datapad.

Summary
"The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.
Love is more than a candle.
Love can ignite the stars."
Or, a few thousands of words of how Anakin, Obi Wan, and Padmé realize many things, which include, most notably, how they feel about each other and how to handle said feelings. Oh, and in the meantime, they deal with a megalomaniac Sith Lord.

Summary
Their bond, ever since Obi-Wan had gone to the Halls of Healing, sits eerily silent at the back of his mind; mute in a manner it hasn’t been in years, maybe ever. Anakin hasn’t touched it since the—diagnosis. Obi-Wan keeps running careful fingers over it, wondering if he’ll feel anything. He never does. With Anakin’s side of it so tightly shut, the once vibrant connection is void of—anything; nothing there to even give him a slight zap at the contact.
Obi-Wan has never considered himself a masochist. Now, a little pain is lightyears more preferable to the dead nothingness that’s constantly lurking around his connection to Anakin.
OR; Obi-Wan gets himself cursed and makes it everyone’s, but mainly Anakin’s, problem.

Sherlock fled London a couple of years after John left him in hospital with nothing but an old walking stick and a half-hearted goodbye.
Rosie grew up thinking that Sherlock died when he committed suicide in front of her father by jumping from Barts' roof.
So it's somewhat awkward when they run into each other in a Sussex general store between the loaves of bread and the Mars bars...

Summary
This series is a modern AU that begins in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where retired Special Forces Colonel Khalil Liam Cahill buys a house near his also retired comrade Marc Winston and discovers a red headed abandoned boy named Obediah Kenner. It's hardly a meet cute. But it develops into a universe of love and hope. And hot sex.
There's also a lot of architecture and design porn. If you're interested in what the Yooperverse might look like, have a look at my Pinterest board for it.

Summary
Seven years after the rise of the Galactic Empire, Anakin Skywalker is but one of the many people fighting in the rebellion to defeat it. With the knowledge of his crimes in the hands of a select few, he tries his best to make amends with his past, although he understands that nothing will be enough to compensate for the part he played in Palpatine's rise to power.
He just didn't expect that in the middle of his way to redemption he would once again find himself face to face with the figure of Obi-Wan Kenobi, his former master and friend. The man he loved. The man that saved him.
And the man that left him behind.

Summary
“Kote.”
Cody is looking up into the visor, he realizes. The Mandalorian is tall, and his chest is mere inches away from Cody’s own. It is so still, so at ease with the proximity. The confidence makes Cody want to look away first. There is a tap to his arm. His eyes drop to see gloved fingers knocking gently against the plastoid. He looks up to see that, somehow, the Mandalorian has softened.
“The name of a sunrise,” they say. “Glory be, Kote.”
“Keep your glory,” Cody says outside of himself. “I’ll take the sunrise.”
(Obi-Wan fakes his death and Cody works through every stage of grief. He eventually decides that he's going to fuck his way out of the depression pit and finds himself falling in love with this handsome Mandalorian who he just keeps meeting.)
