“Go away.” Kaveh slurs his words, despite there only being two. It’d be impressive if it weren’t enough to give even Alhaitham second hand embarrassment.
The patience he had at the start is wearing thin. “Stand up, you need to go home.” Alhaitham nudges him again, but Kaveh shoves him away.

Summary
The apartment smells so strongly of Naruto, Sasuke's head spins immediately. It smells like the woods. It's like fresh cedar and herbs and an undeniable third thing, his rut scent, which Sasuke has only caught a few times; a remarkable citrus. He wonders if Naruto is nearing his rut, and that's why his scent was so muted today--because of blockers. Thoughts whirl around in his head rapidly until he realizes Naruto is frantically waving his hands in front of his face in an attempt to get his attention.
"Hello, earth to Sasuke~" He sings, snapping a few times. Sasuke locks eyes with him, snapping out of his scent-drunk trance. "Do you want noodles or rice?"

Summary
He and Naruto aren't romantic, per se, but god, do they toe the line. In moments like this, especially, as Naruto's pink lips press softly against his own, he feels the boundaries blur. He kisses him back gently, letting his hands work their way into his sweaty hair. Naruto preens into it, his neck baring and his eyelashes fluttering. Sasuke continues, brushing his fingertips along his neck just enough to make him squirm, listening to the sweet moans coming from Naruto's lips and passing along his own.

Does he? Of course. Every rut he's had since he presented he's wished he could spend with Naruto. His one true mate, fated down to the deepest of their energies. Furthermore, Naruto is beyond attractive--someone Sasuke wants more than anything fate could decide for him.

While traveling across the lands, Naruto and Sasuke are forced to confront what lies between them. They make a lot of discoveries about themselves, their past, and their true feelings for each other.
Very slow burn, canonverse, Sasuke POV (he is an unreliable narrator at times, be warned!). Honestly my take on what should have happened at the end of the anime.
