It’s funny, the ice remembers everything.
Being an inanimate object you wouldn’t think it has the ability to remember anything, but it does.
It remembers every blade that has ever cut across its surface, every fall, every fleeting moment of flight, every drop of blood, sweat, and most of all tears.
The ice demands a body that listens as much as it commands. Once that body falters, the illusion breaks.
Felix offered up his soul the second he understood what it meant to fly — The second he saw Christopher Chan Bang skate across his screen all those years ago.
Or: Chan was the reason for everything Felix loved in skating, and then he left. Now, years later, he's back, but now he's Felix's coach.

Summary
During song camp, Chan writes a song with Changbin and Jisung. According to him, it's a harmless storytelling about the response of one that chases the feeling of the game without having to define the relationship. He presents it to the others, and soon the song makes it to the album, and the setlist for DominATE tour.
It would be all good, except...it's not. The problem? Or at least one that the rest of the guys warn him of? Felix. Because Chan has never really consulted him about it first, he didn't think it would be such a big deal. Yet it kind of is, given the two's history and relationship.
Unfortunately Chan can't take the song off the album or setlist, but he can give soft reassuring touches at the end of the song to apologize for it.
He'll do it every stop if he has to.

“No. At least, I don’t think so.” Felix turns in the direction of the bakery, then back to Chan with a smile. “Why? Does it smell better than usual?”

Felix laughs. It's genuine, finally, but more from shock at Chan making a joke in this position rather than actually finding it funny. "Shut the fuck up, Christopher."
Obedient as ever, Chan shuts up, and those adorable little dimples pop up on his cute little cheeks with the smile that breaks out onto his face. Felix wants nothing more than to kiss them, along with just about every inch of Chan's body.

Felix shakes his head to snap out of it. This doesn't mean anything, this won't mean anything. It'll be impossible to convince himself of that, of course— but Chan believes it. This doesn't mean anything to Chan. He just likes to help. That's it.

The younger let a small giggle escape through his nose, “I’m enjoying it too, Chris.” He took another sip from his wine, “And, for what it’s worth, I’m glad I waited too.”
It wasn’t the date he had planned on, it wasn’t even a date at all, at least not officially, but this less than simple act of kindness was probably better than any proper date he could have attended tonight.
