So for three weeks, I let my cousin follow me around and talk to me about spiders.”

Summary
Getting used to Hermitcraft had already been hard enough. Grian has only been part of the group for a couple months, but he was already infatuated with the chaos. Hell, he embraces it. It's been years (after the loss of his family, his old smp, his humanity), and he's eager to make new friends. Hermitcraft accepts him with open arms, and he fits right in - no surprise to anyone.
But then things get harder. Not pranks weird, either. (Weird in an inability to sleep, a constant aching in his back, a longing for anyone nearby all times of the day, and seriously, why does Grian keep stealing clothes?!)

Molly hadn’t even been aware that “unauthorized” mages were a thing beforehand, but suddenly they were. That was just the way things worked in the Empire, now more than ever, and it was one more thing The Mighty Nein had to roll with.
(Or, post Episode 12, the Mighty Nein get in trouble with the law by virtue of being a group containing a goblin, two tieflings, and a couple of mages. Caleb pulls off some heroics to let them get away, and by the time they find him again he's been hit with the Feeblemind spell as punishment. Rather fumbling attempts at coping ensue while the rest of the group tries to fix things.)

She knows better, though. This is no more a hindrance than the fact that she can’t use magic, than the fact that her fists are a better weapon than a dagger, than the fact that she drinks more than she should and fights more than is necessary.
It hurts, because of course it does, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not that bad. As always, she’s felt worse.

Georgie Barker may regret this. She may regret it when she discovers that the world is full of monsters and eldritch gods and dickhead managers. She may regret it when a punk rocker who should be dead collapses on their doorstep, a teenager again who needs their help. She may regret it when her stupid ex-boyfriend starts selling his soul for knowledge and the ability to keep his new family safe.

Crowley occasionally makes cameos, has dedicated his garden to giving Aziraphale fresh herbs and vegetables, and struggles with living after the apocalypse.

“Taste this, my dear,” Aziraphale said.He held a spoonful of jam to Crowley’s lips with his free hand cautiously under it, ready to catch any dripping.
Crowley leaned forward to wrap his lips around the spoon.
Most likely his shyness came from the small tender moments Aziraphale was not afraid of showing the world. It had been the topic of many long conversations after Aziraphale took Crowley’s hand in St. James Park, causing Crowley to freeze and break out in a cold sweat. Being discreet had always been their top priority. For 6,000 years, someone would have surely seen them if they embraced in the middle of London. But now, Aziraphale had assured Crowley, things were different. They no longer needed to hide, but Aziraphale would go as slow as Crowley needed him to.
It was almost funny how their roles had switched after the apocalypse.
