Summary
It’s obvious what Fuma wants. Yudai can feel the tug in his chest. Like there’s a rope around his ribs begging him in. If he were a few more drinks deep, maybe he’d give. Tonight, though, he only feels for what he stands to lose.
“I don’t shack up with cowboys."
A coyote howls in the distance. Fuma reaches out and brushes a stray lock of Yudai’s hair from his face, but he doesn’t linger longer than he needs to. It’s still enough to have Yudai shivering.
“Somebody break your heart?” Fuma asks, voice low.
“If they did, do you really think you’d be the one to put it back together?”
(OR: Yudai swears he'll never fall in love with a cowboy. Fuma proves him wrong.)

Summary
Nicholas stared for a moment, then leaned forward, a grin spreading across his face. “Then we make a deal.”
Euijoo blinked. “A deal?”
“I teach you how to fight. You patch me up. Fair trade.”
“That doesn’t sound fair at all,” Euijoo said, frowning. “You’ll get less out of it.”
Nicholas chuckled. “You’d be surprised how often I get hurt.”
Nicholas has survived gangs, implants, and the kind of streets that chew people up. Now he fights underground matches and tries not to think about the device in his neck that malfunctions more each week.
Euijoo runs a quiet clinic -- too skilled for someone who claims he’s self-taught, too calm for someone living in the slums. Nicholas can’t read him, can’t ignore him, can’t stop returning to him.
What begins as patching wounds becomes something far more intimate -- a pull neither of them asked for, crafted from blood, lies, and the kind of longing that grows in dark places.
But Euijoo’s past isn’t as harmless as he pretends.
And Nicholas’s implant is a ticking fuse.

Summary
Bunnyru isn’t particularly feminine — despite the blaring advertisement. He has a pretty pink mouth and sharp eyes that he seems to accentuate with a bit eyeliner, and when he shows the toy close to the camera Maki notices that he has different designs on his fingernails. But he’s wearing a normal gray zip-up with the hood pulled over his dyed-blonde hair and loose basketball shorts, and his voice is full and even-toned, not trying to purposefully pitch it up to make it more appealing or girlish.
All Maki knows is that he’s rock hard. And Bunnyru has a nice voice, Maki determines as he listens, oddly soothing as he explains to the viewers what he’s doing.
“Let’s test this one out first, shall we?”
Or: Maki loves to watch his favorite camboy. Until he becomes more than just someone on the screen.

it's a little bit like self harm, bringing himself here in order to avoid his reality while simultaneously calling back to it. he wants it back, his life before all of this. he wants late night dinners again, yudai sitting sweetly at the dining table while fuma cooks away. vodka pasta, duck liver, spinach and feta ravioli, more vodka pasta. fuck, they ate so much pasta, it almost makes him smile. almost.
fuma tries to navigate a world where yudai and him are no longer together, not yet out of love. he keeps doing things in threes, wishing he was someone else so that none of this would've ever happened. yudai is everywhere, because of course he is—and then they run into each other on a weekday, two weeks after and the tape doesn't rewind, but it does start over.
