    Shane Hollander was having what was quite possibly the worst night anybody has ever had in the history of the universe. A nightmare of epic proportions he just wanted to wake up from. He squeezed his eyes shut, and desperately hoped to open them in the nondescript Marriott hotel room he was sharing with Hayden. Please let this whole night be a bad dream.
    Please, please, please he silently begged the universe.
    With a steadying breath, he cautiously squinted his eyes open.
    Fuck.
    Nope, still in a South-end Boston jail cell at 3am, sandwiched between a drug dealer and the worst mistake of a hook-up he could have made.

    “I – uh, I haven’t showered. Well obviously - but like... since?” Shane winced and bit his lip. He didn’t need to specify the ‘since’, it was doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence - since the bar, since the jail cell, since Michal.

    Relief flushed through Ilya’s body, and he couldn’t help letting out a bark of laughter.

    “You think I care about this?”

    “I mean, you definitely should?”

    “I would lick dirt off of you Hollander.”

    Somewhere deep in the facility, a heavy impact reverberates through the walls, metal groaning under the strain. Ilya. Hayden closes his eyes. Ilya is bigger, faster. And he wants to kill Shane.
