Then just as soon as the pleasure had begun to coil tight in Frank’s stomach, that his hips lost the slow and dirty grind that Michael had set, Michael suddenly pulled away. He pulled back with enough force that Frank was helpless but to topple over into the space vacated by him as he launched himself out of bed and into the corner of the room.
“We shouldn’t have done that,” Michael said, voice raspy, his erection still clearly tenting his pajama pants, his hands on his hips, looking like he was trying to switch back into Robby mode. But Frank was afraid that if he did, if this was the moment where they built an uncrossable gulf between each other he could not survive it. He would never recover.

Bode and Manny meet in the woods to discuss the bridge and everything they've been leaving unspoken between them.
Manny nods and wipes at his face. “You see I got to hug my daughter and tell her how much I love her. I got to hold her and check on her after all of this. I got to know she was going to sleep safe at night in a warm bed knowing how loved she is. Everything spoken.”
Bode freezes, but Manny barrels on, grasping at the arm Bode extended to him like a lifeline.
“But in the moments before she jumped in after you and even while we were looking for both of you out there in the dark I kept thinking to myself about everything we haven’t said.”
“Cap,” Bode says.
“No. Not here. Not right now. Not after all of this. Please, Bode,” Manny says, stepping into Bode’s space.
