Summary
“Why was he always the one getting caught?!” He thought to himself as he peeled an eye open to take in the very predictable surroundings. Thick sea stone cell bars? Check. Disgusting floor he was forced to sit on? Check. A head of green hair laid out on the other side of the cell unconscious? Check. His nice dress shoes scuffed? Now that was down right unacceptable.

The wings of the monster trio are one again captured by the marines, the commander in charge seems to think he will be different then the rest of the faceless marines who have captured them before. Sanji isn’t so sure.

Summary
"I may never truly return, Jayce," Viktor drops his head into his palms, his breath rattling, "These… few moments of lucidity. They never last, and worse, perhaps one day they will be swallowed into the whole. I cannot account for who I may be, when I awake tomorrow. You should not be left with such a burden."
"You're never a burden, Viktor. You're my partner."
After the final battle, Jayce carries Viktor away, across the isthmus, finding a small town they can hide away in. Here, they have to relearn how to belong to themselves and the world around them.
They struggle. Sometimes, they fail. Regardless, they have each other.

Summary
Viktor doesn’t want to be here. It had taken a lot of pleading, losing a bet, and even more pleading before Jayce had managed to drag him to the party, so, yes, of course he’s miserable.
Not that Jayce expected him not to be, though, to be fair to his partner. In all his begging he had verbally batted away Viktor’s attempts to put the words you’ll enjoy it when you get there into his mouth with an insistence that he doesn’t even enjoy these evenings much. And that Viktor owes him at least one, please, Vik, even if you hate it.
So, Viktor caved. And now he’s here. Hating every boring second.

Summary
The man was in a suit that almost reminded Robert of something from Cirque du Soleil, all skin-tight, shimmering fabric with bursts of red and orange and a V-neck that showed a lot more than neck. The wrap-around sunglasses didn’t even look that ridiculous.
Infuriatingly, he managed to be beautiful, like a Monet in an Ikea frame is beautiful. He had changed very little in the years since Robert first encountered him, at least physically. Robert couldn’t say the same.
