Summary
Izuku Midoriya was a lot of things.
He was a kind person with the true heart of a hero. He would put everything he had into helping others. No matter the cost, if Izuku Midoriya saw someone upset, crying, or hurt, he would do anything to help them.
Izuku Midoriya loved quirks. From the first moment he learned what a quirk was, he wanted to learn everything about them. He would ask anyone about their quirk, his intelligence obvious, knowing more words than a kid his age should, breaking down the quirk and examining it from every angle. He could not only understand quirks of other people, but also teach others how to use their quirks better.
And, above all, Izuku Midoriya was a magnet for villains and dangerous situations

Summary
Mirko was too late to save Izuku Midoriya from suicide. After reading his suicide note, she takes a position at UA as a homeroom and heroics teacher on the condition that she teaches a class of quirkless kids to fulfill the dream of the boy she couldn't save.
Trigger warning: There's a lot of bullying in the early chapters. It peters out eventually, but it's a bit rough at first.

Summary
Izuku is done with his dreams. He messed up big time, and he can't come back from what he's done.
That would be if Bakugou ever reported him for what he did. And that would be if he hadn't managed to befriend the sludge villain. And that especially would be if the villain hadn't noticed Izuku's talent for analysis.
A fic in which Izuku snaps back at Bakugou, befriends way too many villains, and gets himself into some morally questionable jobs, all while inheriting One For All under different circumstances and training to become a hero.

"Wait! Tomura! Not before taking One For All-"

That quirk delivers the deciding blow." I command time to bend. Send him back to the origin. Let them rise from the ground up.
Let Yagi Toshinori save his boy. "Time obliges.

Summary
The Sludge Villain doesn't find Bakugo after escaping All Might, but some other random civilian. There's no series of explosions to draw All Might to the scene of the second attack. It's by pure luck that Izuku stumbles upon them. And Izuku does what he always has when he sees one person hurting another: inserts himself between the aggressor and victim. He finds this is significantly harder to do when one of the parties is a sentient slime.
