Summary
Buck is slipping. The world narrows to the roar in his ears, and the hand squeezing his own, and something warm and tart flooding his mouth.
“Maddie knows. She knows,” he sucks in a breath. “It was always you, it never could be anyone else.” Buck’s voice is barely above a breath. He’s not sure he’s still making any sound – or sense – at all. “When I’m – ah. Take care of him, okay?”
His teeth, his lips are coated with something thick and sticky. He swallows what he can, but it pools under his tongue again quickly, salt and iron, and he has to swallow again.

Summary
When Eddie invents a fake LAFD protocol just to cockblock a guy at a bar, he thinks he's successfully protected his territory. But the plan catastrophically backfires when Buck simply strips his shirt off in the middle of the dance floor. Eddie tries to hold onto his carefully constructed restraint, but watching a smug stranger slide his hands possessively over Buck's bare waist is a torture he simply isn't built to survive. One reckless punch changes everything.

Summary
On the way back from a call, Buck is abducted and brutally assaulted. The aftermath is messy: Buck insists he’s fine (he's not), Eddie is wracked with guilt (predictably), and Christopher knows way too much (as usual). As the 118 rallies around them, everyone has to grapple with the fallout of the violence and what it means for Buck, for Buck and Eddie, and for themselves.
