Her fangs hovered a breath away from skin as her entire body trembled. She couldn’t place if it was from fear or hunger or the sheer effort it was taking to control her own movements. The urge was overwhelming, all-consuming, every instinct screaming at her to just bite, to stop the hollow ache in her gut. It took every ounce of energy barely left in her starving body to resist it, to not sink her fangs into the soft flesh in her grasp.
Chigiri's pulse hammered against Kunigami’s senses, jackrabbiting in what could only be sheer terror, but she stood there, her pink eyes wide and glassy and staring straight at her.

So, Kunigami overcompensated in other ways. If he couldn’t end it, he could at least make himself completely unbearable until Chigiri eventually did it for him. The rest of the boys on Bastard München had long since given up trying to approach him, and he prided himself on taking that as a marker of how intimidating he’d managed to make himself become.
Unfortunately for him, he feared his intimidation had just lost all credibility.

Whenever Kunigami was talking, those magnetic pink eyes would lock onto her like the rest of the team was nothing but mere background noise. Worse, when she wanted something, all she had to do was flutter her lashes and pout a little, and Kunigami— who prided herself on her steel willpower—- would fold instantly.
