The center of this whole thing is the song Chords by The Amazing Devil, which you should absolutely listen to while reading this fic, it is so incredibly knightblings coded. This was written once and not really looked over, just for funsies. I hope it's still good.

Summary
Owain's grip is firm and hardy, and he clearly is a very serious person by nature, with a mask covering his mouth and nose, but that isn't what gives Nom pause. What gives Nom pause is the sudden, snapping feeling of rightness that shoots through his entire body in a painful way it hasn't ever done before, even when he met his other soulmates.
His other soulmates, because Owain is definitely his soulmate.

Katie, though she would never have figured out the right way to explain it to them, was still a little bit angry with the crew.
They'd had translators for about a week, but no one was used to Nom and Katie understanding the others yet, not even Nom and Katie themselves… which meant that they could hear and understand everything being said about them, even if not directed at them.

Summary
The Red Kingdom was... demolished, to put it very bluntly, which was typically Nom's preferred way of going about things.
It saddened him to see so many dead, because of course it did, but Nom couldn't say that he wasn't used to the feeling. You got accustomed to that in a war zone, particularly when you'd been fighting in one for your entire life.

OR: I rewatched Bannerfall Capture the Flag and promptly decided that for game 3, I simply HAD to write an au where that's the actual kingdom lineup. Tags + the relationships being only f/f MIGHT change, as this will be a long ride.
Amount of chapters subject to change - all I know is that it'll be 30 with some extra.
Most likely weekly updates on any day, depending on waxing and waning motivation! Updates may be as late as a little over two weeks.
I’m so sorry it’s been forever and chapter 7 isn’t here yet y’all. The motivation went to hell, I’ll find a way to make it work again! At the moment we are on a bit of a hiatus.
