Which is true. Other than when Yukie is chasing him around for being a menace who forgets to give her back her notes (which is always; she should start making him ask Washio, or even break enemy lines and ask Kuroo or Sawamura for assistance) or they’re competing in true battle (eating competitions; Yukie is undefeated, obviously), Bokuto and Yukie are always a team. Even in non-team activities.

Sasuke steps forward. Sakura meets his eyes (widening slightly—surprise. Crinkling a little—something pleased, welcoming. Widening again—asking what to do. Sasuke sometimes thinks that no matter where in the world he finds himself cast by the winds, he will always know how to read two sets of eyes: one green, one blue.) in askance, and he tilts his head. “Yes, boyfriend,” Sakura says.
Naruto finally looks up. His cheeks are still stained pink, eyes bright, blue. “Do you really think he’d want to?”
Sakura stares at him for a long moment. Ino, across from her, looks similarly thunderstruck.
Evidently, neither of them were prepared for having to explain to Naruto that his vibrant, too-obvious affection for Gaara (of all people) was returned just as earnestly. Sasuke gets it, kind of, in that it’s really not the kind of thing that needs explaining, but like.
It’s Naruto. He’s an idiot. They should have expected this.
“Yes,” Sasuke says, making his presence known to his best friend. “He has terrible taste. Obviously.”

they're not entirely compliant to each other (BOY/BOMB was posted before 319 came out, so the ending is the tiniest bit divergent) in that one detail, but thematically and for everything else, they're companion pieces at heart.

The building collapses and Hashirama has to build a new one around them as the guards flee to evacuate the surrounding buildings and as Mito and Tobirama (who was by that point holding one of the babies to free up Hashirama's hand for the sake of mokuton use and the third delivery) rush through sealing talk that ends with them resorting to drugging her with a soldier pill over Hashirama's objections.
Hashirama has to quickly remove and heal the damage of it from their last baby's system as soon as she's born and he doesn't let either of them near her for a solid three days.
As Mito was bedridden for those three days and Tobirama was subbing in as Hokage while Hashirama figured out childcare with the help of a small army of midwives who had advised them beforehand, (resentful they hadn't been allowed to attend the birth) neither of them really experienced the punishment as intended before he forgave them.

Summary
When Madara awoke, he had expected darkness.
Caught off guard on a mission gone awry, injured, and trapped in a blizzard, he had been easy pickings for a party of Hagoromo Kekeii Genkai traders. Though he put up a fight, it was ultimately useless. He was poisoned, his eyes taken, and then left to bleed out in the snow. He had expected death at best, and blindness at worst.
He had not expected to wake up in his clan's medical ward, eyes still fixed in his skull, healed, and with a fresh soul mark on his cheek.
