Summary
Still working on a summary, but basically a divergence from canon because I'm so not happy with what's happening. This is basically what I think up that I would rather happen instead.

Summary
Both a reactionary fic to 6x7 and an entry for International Fanworks Day 2015. Possibly spoilery, if you haven't watched Friday night's episode, so you've been warned. Kurt's thoughts only, with mentions of Blaine and Sebastian.

Summary
“Oh, Buck,” Karen’s voice took him from his thoughts, and he went back to listening. “You know that’s not the case. Maddie and Chim are still here. We’re still here. Bobby and Athena are still here.”
“But you all have each other," Buck replied. “Maddie has Chim, and you have Hen, and Bobby has Athena. Eddie and Chris? They were mine.”
“And they still are, Buck,” Hen said. “They always will be.”
“Will they, though?” Buck asked. “What happens when Eddie moves back to Texas, and he starts laying down roots there right with Chris? What-what happens when he meets somebody that loves them more than…than anything in the world, and they forget me ?”
****
Denny overhears a conversation between his mothers and Buck about Eddie moving to Texas, and asks Chris via the group chat he and the other 118 kids are in together. Chris is being held hostage in Texas by his grandparents, and desperately is trying to return to LA. With the help of the 118, can the teens get Chris back home and save Christmas?

Summary
With their friendship not what it once was, the last thing Buck expected Eddie to ask him was if he could take him out for the most romantic date of his life and kiss him at the end of it - just so he has the experience. Yet that is exactly what happens one random afternoon.
What follows is some major freak outs, hard conversations and just maybe some realisations neither one of them saw coming.

Summary
The thing about Eddie and Hen bonding is that he might not want to admit it, but Buck’s jealous. He’s achingly and overwhelmingly jealous. He’s jealous of Eddie.
He knows how it sounds, he knows what people think. He hasn’t even tried to raise it with Maddie, because she’d laugh at him and she wouldn’t believe him, and she’d ask if he was sure he wasn’t jealous of Hen. It really isn’t that.
Hen is special. Hen’s always been there for him, always been a steady and constant support like no one else.
The thing that no one seems to understand is that he lost Eddie months ago.
-----
Episode tag to 9x5 Día de los Muertos, in which Buck really truly is jealous of Eddie, not Hen.

Summary
The closer he gets, the worse the scene becomes. Mr Diaz lifts his head, revealing eyes with purple bags beneath. His forehead is marred by deep lines, pinched in the middle. Buck now wonders if holding onto Christopher is the only thing keeping him upright.
And god, if this is what the man looks exhausted and stressed out of his mind, Buck can barely picture what he looks like on a normal day. Magazine cover worthy, for sure.
In another world, Buck might even feel insecure.
--
In another universe, Buck is Christopher's teacher. He also has a habit of getting into trouble. Fortunately, there's a firefighter always on hand to help.Bookmarked by ladyvady

Summary
Buck thinks he sees Bobby's ghost at his funeral, he turns to check on Maddie a few rows behind, trying to avoid Tommy's eyes and there he is. Hair longer and face older, for a second he thinks he's imagining what Bobby would look like in his retirement, a few more years along, hair no longer regulation and graying.
He glances back to Eddie in his suit beside him, a stark reminder he isn't really here anymore, not Buck's partner any longer. He wants to nudge his shoulder against his and ask if he sees him too. But he's too scared, if he doesn't then that means Buck's truly lost any semblance of his false composure. He keeps his head straight, spends Athena's eulogy holding himself together with a thread so thin and frayed it's barely holding him up.
Buck finds himself sitting with Bobby's brother in the wake of the biggest loss of his life.
