“He thought we were dating,” Minho said.
Seungmin blinked. “‘We’ as in you and him, or ‘we’ as in…”
“Me and you,” Minho clarified. Then he scoffed for good measure.
“Hmm,” said Seungmin. He didn’t appear to be particularly affected by it, which was aggravating. Minho had been hoping that he would look horrified and leave immediately, stop intruding on Minho’s space or something, but he just turned the page of his notebook. “I can’t believe he thinks my standards are so low. I’d expect better behavior from someone I was actually dating.”
Minho let out an outraged noise that was too loud in the muffled library. “I’ll have you know that I am on my best behavior,” he hissed.
“I still have all my limbs, so it probably is your best,” Seungmin agreed. “But basic physical safety isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for a romantic partner, you know.”Or: If Seungmin is going to ruin Minho's semester by crowding his study table, Minho will be damned if Seungmin's allowed to go on a date with someone else and have fun. Even if it is for charity. Even if Minho has to pay out of pocket for the privilege of ruining Seungmin's chances at a nice time.

“So, basically at the game before all this one of the infielders got injured, I think they said a fractured wrist, and he had to sit out of the game. Which is extra unfortunate because he had just come off the 7-day injured list for a concussion- poor guy can’t catch a break. But there’s a lot of drama when a player might need to be replaced part way through a season because the Commissioner's Office has to-'' Seungmin goes on, eyes wide and hands balled up in excitement, and Minho can’t stop himself from pulling Seungmin into his lap, pulling his leg over to totally straddle him. Seungmin’s lips part but nothing comes out, pink settling warmly on his cheeks, and Minho can’t stifle the satisfaction that’s curling up inside him at his reaction.
“Please continue, I’m listening.” Minho stretches up and places a kiss on Seungmin’s slightly open mouth. “You were saying something about the Commissioner's office…?”
-Seungmin and Minho's plans change to a day at home, and Minho asks Seungmin to be a little more chatty than usual.

“Hyung,” Seungmin says quietly, hovering by the door. Even in the dark, Minho can immediately tell that Seungmin is wearing the same hoodie he was wearing the first time. God, maybe he really will die. “You're sure?”
Minho breathes out a laugh, fond. “Yes, Seungmin. Come here.”
Seungmin doesn't need to be told twice, apparently, because he's crossing the room and climbing into Minho’s bed as soon as he gets the confirmation he was asking for, settling on the open side of the bed. Minho doesn't even get a chance to speak again before Seungmin’s grabbing his face and pressing their mouths together, enthusiastic and desperate.
Only now does Minho realize what had been bothering him. It wasn’t anything that had already happened. He was wanting something that hadn't happened, and that something is this. Kissing Seungmin again, running his hands along the warm skin of the younger’s waist, hearing the soft whimpers that escape when Minho digs his teeth into the flesh of Seungmin’s lips.
