A Reason Forward (Younger Luffy series) by

Fandom One Piece (Anime & Manga), One Piece - All Media Types

    02 Oct 2026

    Summary

Very few moments in Ace’s life had changed everything. In his defense, nothing had really mattered until he met a dumbass blond with a wicked backswing at five.

Then someone dropped a screaming four-month-old brat into his arms at ten.

The little shit had been his problem ever since.

A series following Ace, Luffy, and the family they build — sometimes deliberately, sometimes despite Ace’s best efforts.

(Installments will be posted in non-chronological order but will be ordered appropriately here in the series.)

    Summary

The future holds the accumulation of your dreams and wishes: a world free of Kibutsuji Muzan and all demon-kind.

Although not for many generations, and over 300 years from now, victory is achieved. The sparks you kindle now are one day a blazing inferno. A chain of hearts and blades, connected, that see your will done.

May you know that all your efforts were never in vain. They were worth it. Every moment.

I wish you to know the inheritors of that future and how it comes to be.

    ~

Tsugikuni Yoriichi, the five original wielders of Breath Techniques, and Kamado Sumiyoshi wake in a strange room with the promise of witnessing the end of Kibutsuji Muzan.
