Summary
Though Andy left her in Paris and hasn't interacted with her in the months since, something is definitely wrong with Miranda. And Andy Sachs is NOT going to just standby while Miranda suffers alone.
Can be read as in the same universe as "The Choice: or Orpheus reversed" and "Hurricane"
vibes: Lots of angst. Questionable medical accuracy. Poor communication skills. So many original characters. Happy ending to come.

Summary
The desire wasn't sudden, but pinned against a pool table, something gave way.
After decades of pretending it isn't there, hunger becomes a revelation. One night turns into honesty, girl's night with a game show, and a quiet reckoning of everything they didn't get to have.
The team has watched from the sidelines for years, but now they get front-row seats.
Behind closed doors, they learn what being taken apart feels like, how something so close to sin can be the nearest thing to heaven that either of them may ever know.

Summary
Miranda Priestly built her empire on vision, control, and ice-cold perfection. But with the board itching for a “softer” narrative and whispers of replacement brewing, appearances suddenly matter more than legacy.
It's just for optics. It’s strictly professional...until it isn’t.
