His chosen family aren’t speaking to him unless it’s to bark orders at him on shift, still pissed about the lawsuit, so Buck suffers in silence.Faced with a medical emergency, Buck calls Eddie to beg. Except, Eddie doesn’t even give Buck a chance to speak when he answers.

Summary
Access to light, clean bedding, or a warm meal was considered a privilege within the structures of Hydra. A glimpse of these comforts could only be granted to a soldier who followed orders. Peter was not one of them. With his thin limbs, the malnourished twelve-year-old was on the brink of death from exhaustion and starvation. It seemed that his days were numbered, and he himself longed for death. At least, that’s what he believed—until a threat from the outside emerged, the one his superiors had warned him about: the Avengers.
Yet for some unclear reason, this group wanted to save him. Especially Tony Stark, the Merchant of Death, saw something in him that Peter himself could not see. For reasons unknown to Peter, Stark wanted to take care of him and show him that the world still had much to offer.
