Summary
Yoshizawa fires off a volley of bless attacks. The magic loses its form and splinters away, leaving Kurusu with little more than a tear in her tailcoat.
“Good,” Kurusu praises, and fires a bullet that clips Yoshizawa in the calf. “But you can’t assume your attacks will knock your assailant off-balance. Don’t let yourself get overconfident.”
Hidden in the shadows, Akechi rolls her eyes. That’s pretty fucking rich, coming from her.
Akechi is still owed a rematch. Kurusu, despite accepting her glove, has found a new and frivolous way to waste her time.

Summary
“You got a haircut,” Kurusu states in lieu of a greeting, blunt as ever. She's growing out her hair — it's notably longer than the usual nest of hair, with the ends reaching her shoulders. The wild curls remind Goro vaguely of a horse’s mane, and she suppresses the sudden urge to flatten Kurusu's hair just to see whether it'll bounce back up.
“Yes,” Goro replies, just as blunt. “I see that you’ve done the opposite.”
“Do you want me to crop it for you?” Kurusu asks. “Your hair,” she elaborates after Goro stares at her. She doesn't outright say that Goro did a shitty job of cutting her own hair, but the question alone implies it as much. Goro knows that. Kurusu knows that Goro knows that, and well. Goro knows that too.
“Sure,” Goro mumbles after a pause, because she’s dead anyways and nothing really matters and if she can get her hair cut by Kurusu even if it’s probably going to be disastrous then sure.
