"Are you getting that book so it can be displayed behind your Lego Death Star set?"

"Uh, yeah actually it is how did you…know…that?" Ned asks, his initial excitement dying with every word.

Him and MJ subtly back away from her as the alarm takes root. She feels her stomach sink.

And she doesn't know what possesses her, the gnawing need, the ache of knowing them but they don't know her but whatever it is it's stupid as she says, "Oh, you knew me before my transition."

Akira’s third eye is useful in moderation, but it's the ‘in moderation’ part that he keeps forgetting about. With his growing list of responsibilities, and their first Palace deadline approaching, it's hard not to use every tool at his disposal to make life a bit easier. A headache or two, stress-induced or otherwise, is a small price to pay for the benefit of his team.
    Until it isn't.

    Summary

Class 2-D of Shujin Academy had a secret, and it was all thanks to Kurusu. There was no secret prior to his transfer to the school in April; before then, the students were about as normal as they came (save for, perhaps, Takamaki, who stood out thanks to her ‘relationship’ with Kamoshida, and Mishima, who looked closer to bolting if anyone so much as looked at him the wrong way than anything). They gossiped together, complained about their classwork together, made fun of one another, and bemoaned their luck when they were the ones stuck with the delinquent transfer student together.

Kurusu seemed quiet, at least, his head always tilted down so the light reflected off his glasses and hid his eyes. When that didn’t work, he tugged at his unkempt hair, hiding his face from view so no one could quite get a good look at him. Save for the rumors that class 2-D helped spread about his criminal record—the most outrageous, so far, being that he went and stabbed a man for looking at him funny—everything continued almost normally.

Then, a few days into Kurusu’s year-long tenure at Shuji Academy, the class started hearing meowing coming from his direction.
