THE END OF THE FIRST FIC TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. wow. WOW!! this is so fucking GOOD. one of the best airplane fics i’ve ever read, seriously!!!! it starts off incredibly painfully (the way that airplane makes kind of a joke out of his incredibly traumatic death at the literal hands of his son??? while nobody raises a single finger to stop it happening???) and ends on such a poignantly significant note (“THAT IS EVERYONE IN THE WORLD.” OH MY GOD) that it actually blew my mind. the angst is so tasty the writing is so fun the plot is beautifully intricate and the characters are EVERYTHING TO ME!!! airplane’s absolutely all encompassing GUILT about replacing liu qingge. liu mingyi and shang houhua brotherhood forever and ever. yue qingyuan and shen jiu starting as the world’s most disgustingly in love couple. shen jiu being RIGHT about almost EVERYTHING, but also being so fucking petty and annoying about it<3 teacher zhang GOAT. nothing but respect for MY pathetic poser king shen yuan. AND THE MOSHANG!!! and all the plot twists are so good and work so well. this author has such an incredible amount of creativity, the way everything in this story wrapped so fucking neatly together. ugh so fucking GOOD. and the last five chapters are literally everything. i seriously barely have the words man this series was amazing. sincerely WOW!!!

god this is SUCH a good ponyboy crash out. damn. having about six hundred feelings abt it rn. my favorite thing abt him is he’s suuuch an unreliable narrator. like it’s truly impossible for him to fathom just how much everyone cares abt him and it makes me so insane. ugh. plus it’s a fantastic exploration of how ignoring trauma can hurt not only you, but everyone around you as well. beautifully written, really good dialogue, both heartwrenching and hilarious, and full of so many family feels i could cry. ten out of ten.
