Summary
She rushes — she doesn’t care about what society has to think anymore. She truly doesn’t care. Before long, her arms wrap around the shoulders of her beloved, inhaling the sickly sweet scent of her aroma. Always lavender. It’s the scent she always finds her way back to.
However Molly isn’t like her; she’s too cautious, too nervous. She holds her hand as she leads her away to the bathroom, by the stall. It’s cramped and really tight, but being so close to her again makes the thump of Cherri’s heart beat faster. Louder. She swears the heat of her face rises as they stare back at each other.
“I’m sorry.” Molly mumbles genuinely, her hand cradling against the nape of Cherri’s neck as she leans on her tiptoes. Their lips collide against each other, no trace of warmth detected. Only the reek of desperation remained. And for Cherri, that was enough.

After all, a Plastic—albeit still a newbie—doesn't randomly (and abruptly) stand up whilst Gretchen Wieners ("the queen of gossiping", as Damien would say) is talking about all the shit that happened during first, second and third period.
A Plastic will not randomly walk towards a random punk boy who probably hasn't showered in a month with such incredibly fast speed that she rivalled the Flash.
And certainly, a Plastic would not randomly break out in a stupid, goofy grin and wrap her arms around said punk loser, tackling him to the ground as they slammed their bodies together to hug each other.
But yet, here she was. Hitting the cold floors with a loud thud as Cady and said punk were laughing loudly (and groaning terribly as the impact of their fall settles in their bones seconds later).
or: Cady Heron and Rodrick Heffley are childhood friends that haven't seen each other for nearly eight years; until both transfer to North Shore High (for completely different reasons…). To get back at Regina for dating Aaron Samuels, again, Cady uses Rodrick as her arm candy; entitled girls always fall for this bait.

Then, he sees brief glimpses of Gyutaro and Ume—or was it Daki?—getting decapitated by a man who briefly resembles someone he knows. Then, he sees Kokushibo’s body disintegrating as tears fall from the man’s eyes and a red blade is stuck in his side.
He cries. He wants to at least, but he can’t. He’s lost all emotion after all. And right as he thinks the Devil is going to claim him and drag him down further into the burning place, right where demons are sanctioned, he jolts awake.
Michikatsu comforts his husband after a bout of nightmares.
