Peter Parker has a lot of conflicting emotions where it concerns Johnny Storm. He wishes he could say this was a new development, but it really wasn't. Things have been complicated between the two of them ever since they met (when Peter so graciously broke into Johnny's home). Really the mask only makes things more difficult, but Peter is a stubborn bastard, and he doesn't plan on budging on the secret identity any time soon. That's where his current issue lies. See, Spider-Man and Johnny Storm are best friends. They hang out on the Statue of Liberty, they have movie nights, Johnny has even patched up Spidey on occasion. Which is really something because Peter's pride doesn't often let him accept help from others. The problem is, Peter Parker and Johnny Storm can't stand each other.

After dumping his girlfriend (into a pocket universe) for daring to suggest that his fixation on the alien is not fueled by just envy and hatred, Luthor turns to Kent, breaking the - so far - professional boundaries between them to explore the unexplainable attraction he feels for him. Meanwhile, Kent can't resist the unexpected intimacy, having broken up with Lois Lane for her protection when he suspected Luthor was catching on to his secret identity. As Clark Kent, the Kryptonian becomes Luthor's lover, struggling to maintain his secret while he fights the same man as Superman.
I'm not super well-versed in the comics; I only recently got into these characters after the 2025 Superman film. I do plan to get into the comics properly, probably after I finish uni for the year, so I have more time, but for now, this is just based on the recent film. It's set before the events of the film, using Gunn's versions of the characters.
