Sin came in the form of chocolate delights before dinner. It came in the form of spending your savings at that local market where they served the best dumplings known to hedgehog kind. It even meant playing some dirty games, like a gambling night or strip poker, without your spouse necessarily knowing what you were up to three nights ago, instead of working.
Thankfully, Sonic wasn't married, but he was in a relationship with Sally, which meant either way, he was fucked. Why? Well, he had his fair share of mistakes he'd made with Sally, but this one...oh, this one would put to shame all his messes in the past.
This sin came in the form of one charming but dangerous hedgehog. By an ironic twist of fate, Sonic does not regret the new guilty pleasure he partakes in with this guy during secret meetups and coincidental encounters.

Summary
Shadow growls when Sonic leans in close to look at his wound, his cheeks flushing at their increased proximity.
“I said I’ll be fine Sonic, it’s just a graze,” he grits out, looking anywhere but the other.
Sonic looks down at him, unimpressed.
“Shadow, this ain't gonna be one you can just walk off.”
"What's it to you what I do," he snaps back.
Sonic huffs.
"Chaos Shadow, is it so hard to believe that being your friend, I might actually give a shit if you're hurt? "
Sonic sighs and stands up, holding his hand out to Shadow who continues to glare off into the forest.
"Look dude, we're about ten minutes walk from mine and Tails' place. Just come back with me and at least let me clean it up for you." He hesitates then adds on, “You deserve to be looked after too.”
Shadow falters for a moment before exhaling resignedly.
"Don't make me regret it," he says sharply.
Sonic huffs fondly and replies, "'Course dude, when have I ever?"

Shadow most certainly does not regret it and Sonic gets much more than he bargained for.

Every muscle goes tense as her golden head droops onto his shoulder, her downy hair a perfect pillow, her expression soft and relaxed.
Alastor’s eyes go wide, his mouth parting as he hisses in a breath- and then he freezes.
He does not like physical contact. Doesn’t enjoy the sensation of hands touching his form, doesn’t like the intrusion upon his personal space, the violation that a hand on a back provides, the prickle that a pat on the shoulder brings.
But this- somehow this is different.
Or: Charlie falls asleep on Alastor’s shoulder.
