The other beasts were honestly very shocked by this. As of late, Shadow Milk Cookie had greatly enjoyed showing off his spire to those who would look.
“But why?” Eternal Sugar Cookie asked. “You said you loved having us.”
That much was true. He’d always ensure their needs were met—below his own, of course, but the thought was there.
“I did!” Shadow Milk Cookie fell backwards. “But I’m afraid I cannot go on. Not without my other half here with me!”
Silent Salt Cookie recalled that cookie—Pure Vanilla Cookie, who insisted his name was the Truthless Reculse. Silent Salt Cookie had at first been angry with Shadow Milk Cookie for trapping the healer, but both insisted he stayed of his own volition.

However, the four awakened ancients with other cookies by their side stopped them in time. Though when the battle was over, they weren’t able to find Pure Vanilla Cookie, and after months of searching, he was presumed dead.
