After washing up on a far-off island in the Archipelago Continent, T’nuri’s life as a Cubone woodworker comes to a crashing halt in a maelstrom of supernatural weather and fog.
However with the combined help of a Jangmo-o from the Fogcutter’s Detective Agency and their Fuecoco and Grookey teammates the four discover that their latent power can calm the fog. T’nuri sets off on an island-hopping journey back home, beset by dangers and mysteries of the spreading Ruinous Fog, and stranger and stranger Pokémon with the team in their sights.
