    This follows Dick Grayson and Wally West from being young children to adults, getting together being dorks, and so on! In this, they are both trans men because I want to. There is no deeper reason or headcanons there that's just it. This is set in some kind of weird mix of the young justice cartoon and some other things. So the YG team will feature but not everything follows the show and so on.

    "No-" Wally's voice is rough with lingering dredges of sleep. It's hard to imagine less than an hour ago, he had been counting sheep in his borrowed bed. He clears his throat and tries again, pleading urgently with the nurse, "I'm alright. Please focus on the boy."

    'Boy.' Jason is only fifteen, Wally's pretty sure. Tiny. Powerless. He should call Batman and demand answers. Why is Robin in Ethiopia and not Gotham? Where were you? He doesn't remember Barry questioning Batman's authority often. But Barry would've never let Kid Flash be in another country alone with no teammates and no mentor.

    Wally West has been the Flash for only a few months after his uncle sacrifices himself to save the world. Barry had been a hero. Wally's just trying to get by. Then Wally goes for a standard run that leads him stumbling across a badly beaten Robin. He saves him. He has no idea yet, but this changes everything.

    “I’ve been going on missions,” he says defensively.

    “Yeah?” Jason raises a judgemental eyebrow through the mask. “Any of those missions not include your new boy toy?”

    Dick scowls, caught out. “What does it matter?”

    Jason pushes himself off of the wall and stretches with strategic lethargy. “Look, take it from a guy who came back from the dead too.” Dick flinches, but Jason barrels on. “The longer you keep him to yourself—away from everyone else—the longer it’ll take for him to process that life moved on without him.”

    (Or: When Wally returns from the dead, their relationship is not as easy to navigate as Dick hoped it would be.)

    “You just called the brat a sugar snap and he didn’t even try to stab you.” Jason deadpanned. “Your fridge is literally covered in his art. He just went into yours and Wally’s room like a kid who threw up and wants cuddles.”

    Dick huffed.

    Summary

    These are all one-shots in which Bruce went to therapy instead of becoming Batman. Some of them may be related, I'll mention that in the notes if that's the case.

    Some are alternative universe fics in multiple ways, like No Capes+Reverse Robin. All are self-indulgent and feature mainly Bruce with Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian because they are the ones I feel most comfortable writing. All other relationships like Dick/Wally will be listed in the tags.
