Summary
Lady Sansa Stark has always looked forward to her come-out season in London, the balls, the rides in Hyde Park, evenings at Vauxhall, the romance and wonder of it all. Never had she imagined that it would happen like this, with her parents gone and her younger siblings underfoot. Now, all Sansa wants is for it all to be over quickly so she can get back to Winterfell. She needs a kind, amiable man who will be brave enough to take on his wife's siblings. That should not be so hard to find in London, should it? And while she is most grateful for Jon Targaryen's help, why must her cousin be so distracting?

Summary
Enemies, allies, friends, and then a regression back to near-strangers - Zuko has been so very many things in her life. Now, years after the war, Katara finds herself back in the Fire Nation alongside the Fire Lord, world-weary and trying to pick up the pieces of her life. As she falls deeper and deeper for the quiet, thoughtful man that he now is, she must find the courage to truly open herself up to the possibility of loving and being loved.

Summary
"I already know that you wake up with the sun and that you can’t stand beets and that you can be eloquent when you don’t think of your words but stutter when you are self-conscious. I know that you’re the perfect height that you can put your arm around my shoulder and you always run hotter than normal and you eat food that is so spicy that you don’t have any taste-buds left. You can cook surprisingly well but you suck at making tea, and you’re terribly fussy and cranky when you’re sick."
It was an innocent suggestion to start with. She'd thought it would be the best solution for everybody. But sometimes our minds and hearts can be at war. And marriages can be complicated affairs. Who would have thought falling in love with your husband could lead to heartbreak?

Summary
"Zuko isn’t a good speaker. Except when he is. When he actually convinced them to let him join their group. When he stood before the people of all the nations and promised an era of peace and love. When he found the correct words about her mother. And now, as they lie on the grass and he tells the story of Agni scattering stars like jewels loose from his hair so Tui would not be alone in the night sky."
The end of the war brings with it the rest of their lives. Lives they had not dared to imagine before. And Zuko and Katara learn each other. In the future, people will say it was inevitable, it was fated, it was destined to be. Katara simply knows she would not have made any choice differently, not the simple ones, not the hard ones.

Summary
His father traces his scar one last time, then leans back, his long silk sleeves brushing against the filthy straw. “Would you like to come out of this cell, Zuko? Your room at the palace is waiting for you. You can take a bath. Have a fine dinner. Put on clean clothes. There is a meeting of the ministers tomorrow afternoon, and I would be so glad if my heir would attend.”
Maybe the executioner really is waiting, and this is all a trap.
But, maybe not.
Zuko has always been a survivor.
And he has been in this cell long enough to know that no one is coming for him.
OR:
The reign of Fire Lord Zuko lasted for three years before his father’s coup.
That was two years ago, and now Ozai is ready to let Zuko out of prison. After all, a Fire Lord needs his heir – assuming that heir has learned his lesson.

Zuko leans forward. “We’re gonna be lawyers,” he says seriously. “If we can’t get you a green card through a fake marriage, I think we’d have more to worry about than getting caught.”
OR
Zuko thinks that marrying Katara so she can get a green card is a great way to kickstart their law careersRated T for mild language and mentions of sex/child abuse

Summary
The frame was made of brightly painted clay, a cheesy souvenir that proclaimed "Ember Island" across the top. Along the bottom in curling script it read, "Discover Your True Self". Back then, she hadn’t paid much attention to remembering things - there had been an abundance of laughter and love in her life, and it had felt as though she could only get endlessly happier. "That", she thought, studying herself again, "is the Katara I miss the most."

Summary
In the balloon, Zuko hadn't let himself think about what would happen if the Avatar's group turned him away, but the cold reality sinks into his bones like the mountain air, and he trembles where he stands. There's nowhere to go and everywhere to go all at once, and he promised them, promised himself, promised Uncle his repentance for Ba Sing Se. He promised to make it up to Katara.
The only question is how he's supposed to do that without teaching the Avatar firebending.
(Or: Winning a war is hard. Atonement is harder).

Summary
After the war, Katara loses herself in the rhythms of tribal life. In the South Pole the moon is sovereign. Deep in the ice and snow, and in the heart of her element, it is easy to forget that there is a land of fire, smoke and dragons. Her journey with the Avatar slips into memory: a strange past life, shadowy and ephemeral. But some things do not stay consigned to twilight, nor to history. She is 20 years old when she sees him again.
