Summary
This time, Sokka finds himself in a desert. The parched ground under his feet gradually turns into sand, and the rock gives way to smooth canyons with fleshy edges.
The Si Wong desert whispers a voice.
Sokka has never been here before. He carefully observes his surroundings, then feels a presence behind him. He turns around and notices a man wearing a blue theater mask, entirely covered in black tactical clothing and armor.
The other man hasn’t noticed him, as his gaze is fixed on one of the canyon walls.
There are inscriptions on it, similar to those sometimes found in ancient Jedi temples. They aren’t clear enough for Sokka to decipher.
Suddenly, the masked man turns his head towards him, realizing his presence. Their eyes meet, and Sokka feels his breath catch when he encounters familiar molten gold irises.
"Who are you?" he asks him.---
or: during the fall of the Jedi Order, Zuko leaves Sokka to embark on a vengeful quest. Five years later, Sokka receives a vision from the Force that might lead him to his lost lover in the far reaches of the Galaxy...

Summary
Cette fois Sokka se trouve dans un désert. La terre asséchée sous ses pieds se transforme progressivement en sable et la roche cède en des canions lisses pourvues d’arêtes charnues.
Le désert Si Wong souffle une voix.
Sokka n’est jamais venu ici. Il observe les environs, minutieusement, puis sent une présence derrière lui. Il fait volte face et remarque un homme portant un masque de théâtre bleu, entièrement couvert d’une tenue et d’une armure tactique noire.
L’autre homme ne l’a pas remarqué, car son regard est rivé sur l’une des paroi du canyon.
Il y a des inscriptions dessus, du même genre que celles qu’on trouvait parfois dans les temples Jedi archaïques. Elles ne sont pas assez nettes pour que Sokka puisse les déchiffrer.
Soudain, l’homme masqué tourne la tête vers lui, se rendant compte de sa présence. Leurs regards se croisent et Sokka sent son souffle se couper quand il rencontre des iris d’or fondus familiers.
- Qui es-tu ? lui demande-t-il.ou : lors de la chute de l'Ordre Jedi, Zuko quitte Sokka pour se lancer dans une quête vengeresse. Cinq ans plus tard, Sokka reçoit une vision de la Force qui pourrait bien le mener à son ancien amant perdu dans les confins de la Galaxie...

C’est la plus grande démonstration d’émotion qu’il ai fait dans cette pièce jusqu’ici. Ghost se sent soudainement prit au piège sous le regard de la thérapeute. Machinalement il cherche les voies de sortie rapide : la fenêtre et la porte. Il peut atteindre la fenêtre en cinq secondes, la porte en trois. Ils sont au rez-de-chaussée, alors Ghost n’a aucune chance de se blesser en passant par la fenêtre, en plus il sera tout de suite dans un espace ouvert et donc avec plus de possibilités pour–
- Est-ce qu’elle t’écrit ?
Pas aussi souvent que cela devrait l’être, peut-être à une fréquence de plusieurs semaines d’intervalles entre chaque messages, parfois moins. Ghost les lit tous, il ne répond jamais, fin de l’histoire.
- …De temps en temps.
- La communication se déroule bien ?
- Je ne réponds pas.
La thérapeute lui lance un regard surpris et Ghost regrette immédiatement d’avoir dit la vérité.

Summary
“Of course, you are more than welcome here, for as long as you’d like.” is Emma’s instant and smooth reply, delivered with an effortless aplomb that is well-suited to her Chief Councilor role; there’s no hiding the sharpness of her eyes, however, that intelligent glint that speaks of veiled suspicion and careful calculations. “Any friend of Maelle is a friend of ours.”
As expected, Maelle is more than ecstatic by Emma’s easy acceptance, but her mood quickly plummets when she spots Gustave’s less-than-thrilled expression: if looks could kill, Verso is pretty sure he would be lying in a pool of his own blood by now, but after some uncomfortable staring the man just scoffs and looks quickly on the side, cheeks flushed by what Verso can only presume is a good dose of barely repressed anger. “...Sure, whatever. If that’s what Maelle wants.”
(After making a promise to each other at the Canvas' edge, Maelle restores Lumiére to its former splendor, and Verso tries to live his life in it as simply and unobtrusively as possible.
Too bad that Gustave absolutely hates Verso's guts, and Verso's blossoming feelings for Gustave are of a complete opposite nature.)
