Vash coughs. “Do you want help? To relax, I mean.”
Wolfwood sits up on an elbow, arching a skeptical eyebrow. Help? Several rather explicit things flit through his mind, knowing Vash’s preferred method of stress relief. Surprisingly, though, there is little innuendo in his tone. Mostly annoyance to match Wolfwood’s own annoyance. “...And how do you expect to do that?”
Vash scratches at his chin and herms, searching for the words. “You’ve… seen me talk to my sisters, by now,” he chooses his words carefully, whether for Wolfwood’s sake or his own is anyone’s guess. “Like that, kinda, for you. I can help regulate your nervous system, your heart rate and all that stuff.”

“Oh,” Olly looks confused. “Do you want me to bring you—”
Qifrey cuts him off again, tipping his bearded chin up with a hand. He brushes the pad of his thumb across Olly’s bottom lip, pressing it down to see a hint of the pink inside. “Will you be my footrest, while I work?”

Summary
Wolfwood’s cheek is warm when he takes it in his hand. Their lips touch, both chapped and dry from being out in the desert for hours, but perfect as always. Wolfwood is delightfully hesitant, eyelids fluttering with each press of their mouths to each other. He reaches out, tracing slow circles on Vash’s forearm. The tension leaves his body slowly as Vash meets Wolfwood’s lips with his own, each slow kiss leaving sweet relaxation in its wake.
Wolfwood sighs, pleased. He brushes a stray starched hair out of Vash’s face. “Been waitin’ for this all day.”

Deep in the heart of winter at the atelier, as a snowstorm blankets the land in silver, Qifrey and Olruggio ponder the idea of what they would do if they were entirely alone.

Wolfwood barely ever requests anything of Vash, is always the one fussing and fretting over him. Yet he’d wanted this badly enough to ask for it– shoving the little metal cage into Vash’s chest with a flustered grunt before immediately stalking off and successfully grinding Vash’s brain to a complete halt in the process.
Their sex life is one of the few places Wolfwood will let down his walls and acquiesce to Vash taking care of him, falling into submissiveness with a desperation that reveals how badly he truly needs it. How was Vash supposed to say no to that?

Olruggio rumbled. He could feel the vibration in his chest, from Olruggio’s to his own. “I’m not leaving you,” he said, voice gruff and fumbling. “I don’t — I want — you know I’ve wanted to hug you too, right?”
He sounded terribly embarrassed. Qifrey giggled, half in endearment and half mind-numbing relief. “Right,” he murmured, fingers relaxing by a fraction. “Sorry. You used to be so affectionate with your hands.”

Wolfwood moves his leg. As it brushes against some of the endless expanse of leather covering his legs Vash startles again, the pressure letting up with a twitch and a sheepish little sound.
Oh. Now there’s something he’d like to hear again.
A chase ends with Vash and Wolfwood stuck in a hot, stuffy box. Hours of boredom, bad choices, and more-or-less accidental touches follow.
