Healy's eyes were getting heavy. March watched it happen in real time, and felt his own heart go into a register he hadn't hit since the fire that took his wife a year and a half ago. "Hey. Hey— eyes. Look at me." He begged.
Healy squinted. "I'm lookin'." He whispered.
"You're not. You're looking at— fuck, Jackson, look at me." He got one bloody hand off the wound and onto Healy's jaw, turning his face. Healy's eyes came back slowly, unfocused, finding March's. "There he is. Hey. Hi. You gotta stay with me, okay?" March swallowed back what he was sure was a sob. "You don't get to do this. You don't get to— you shoved me, you absolute asshole, why would you—"
"You were— just standin' there," Healy said, perfectly matter-of-fact. "You always just stand there. Y'never duck. You're the only man I ever met whos— got no reflex for it at all." He sucked in a long, rattling breath. "It's a problem, March. It's a real problem. You're actin' like you wanna get shot."

In other words, five times Holland March watches his family get hurt, and one time they watch him get hurt.

Summary
Healy kneels and joins March on the ground, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him a little. His hands are stiff, his motions full of contained tension.
“March, you’re not thinking straight. How about we bring you home and you stop running your goddamn mouth and risk saying something you might regret once the booze wears off?”
He’s giving March an out. One last stop before he runs himself off the edge. Before he fundamentally alters the fragile and soft thing that has grown between them, the unlikely friendship they’ve tentatively built.
March could lower his head and say yeah, you’re probably right, I don’t know what I’m saying, let’s go home, oh, can you pick me up tomorrow so we can meet that new client I had on the phone earlier? He could stop his downward spiral right here and forget about tonight.
“I’ve always wanted you to fuck me,” he says instead.

Or, a misunderstanding after a bar fight leads March to make a drunken confession. The answer he gets is not the one he expects.

Six months after the events of The Nice Guys, life's going pretty smoothly for both Holland March and Jackson Healy. Going to work, solving cases, pissing a lot of people off, but hey, no one got hurt.
Until one night, Healy drives March home. The sweet, undeniable tension between them finally pops.

A news reporter started a speech about how gay marriage had just been legalized by the United States Supreme Court. Holly squealed. Her husband didn’t have the same reaction, but he was probably just as excited.
There was only one image running through Healy’s mind.
If the times were on their side, he and March could’ve been standing in a courthouse together. Healy in his too-small suit and March in his stupid burgundy (purple) one. They could’ve gotten formally married, with the papers and everything.

Taste is the latest of Grace’s human obsessions. This is strange, but understandable, given the bumpy sensory organs that humans have on their tongues—tastebuds. These microscopic receptors react to chemical compounds and send electric taste signals to the brain: Sweet, sour, salty, bitter.
The whole thing is fairly primitive to Eridians. We eat because food keeps us alive. We do not need our bodies and brains to trick us into eating, but humans are driven by neurochemical rewards.
The problem, apparently, is that Grace’s tastebuds are currently processing Grace.

Antinous had spent hours studying Telemachus’ body.
His nose, littered kisses to its bridge during stolen moments in the halls of palace, teasing bites to the soft skin before the taller man nearly knocked Telemachus into the nearest pile of hay with the force of his love, warm, blushing skin pressed against Antinous as Telemachus tried to muffle the sounds of his own pleasure.
His ears, teasing whispers about nights prior as Telemachus tried his best to spar with the older man, fingers massaging his earlobes as Antinous recounted tales of how people in the far east believed they were areas of pleasure, kisses pressed to the side of his head as he snuck up behind the prince, who was never truly surprised.
And his eyes. Wise eyes, Athena’s eyes, Odysseus’ eyes. Not in their colour or shape per se, but in the way they truly saw. Saw the heart of a problem, the heart of a person. Antinous had trouble meeting them sometimes, which caused Telemachus a twisted sort of heartbreak.
OR
Antinous would know Telemachus, if only by his nose.

Welcome aboard, passenger number three.
Ryland Grace now must face his biggest challenge yet: parenthood. It's going to be a long four years to Erid, and he and Rocky are going to have to team up and get creative in raising this tiny human together within the walls of the Hail Mary. Grace is going to have to sort through his own issues-- including painful memories and tricky feelings about his alien best friend-- all while being at the mercy of parenthood, deep space, and their limited supplies.
OR: Grace and Rocky have to figure out how to keep a human baby and themselves alive for four years until Erid. They also happen to be falling stupidly in love the whole time without realizing it.
