He squints through the veil of white, at first sure he is seeing an illusion-- but even as he watches, it draws closer, moving gracefully through the fallen snow with slow, elegant steps. A tall man of unearthly beauty is walking through the forest, dressed in a long white robe that trails upon the snow behind him.
Hongjoong stares, transfixed; the man seems to shimmer with a cold iridescence, his robe glittering like moonlight on frost. Even the tips of his dark hair curve around his face as sharp as icicles, framing regal, dignified features and a delicate, pointed chin. Only the color of his lips betrays that the man walks among the living-- a deep crimson red, as brilliant as Hongjoong's coat.
(The sole survivor of a battle, Hongjoong turns to the forest for solitude, and falls in love with an enchanting winter fae.)
