Summary
June sagged against me, like her strings had been cut. "Golly." She breathed out. "I don't think I've been this scared in my whole life."
Right, she'd killed a boy an hour ago. I'd almost forgotten Everything was slipping through my mind like a sieve. I was so tired. "Me neither." I might've been lying, I wasn't sure.
The train jerked to life beneath us, jostling us against each other. I curled into Bug's side as if she wouldn't notice with all the sudden racket and motion. I missed Soda. I missed my bed. Junebug slung her arm over my back and rubbed over the top of my spine with one hand. "It's gonna be alright, kid. We'll figure it out."
...
Pony Marie Curtis and June Cade have to dress up like boys to escape town and not be recognized as they hide from the police. It does, in fact, awaken something in both of them. It changes a lot and nothing at all at the same time.

Summary
Getting into trouble together was an early and long-lasting pasttime.
"Don't tell Ma!"
Soda was already halfway to tears, holding the side of his face with one hand. Underneath it was a fresh cut from a too-sharp stone that had just sailed from Darry hand.
They'd been throwing rocks at each other in the lot after stopping there on their walk home from school. It wasn't for the purpose of hurting each other, of course. But they were both too young to understand that playing a game of throwing rocks at each other would only have one logical conclusion.
...
just a silly collection of childhood memories abt the two older curtis brothers getting into trouble together and keeping each others secrets as best they can.

Summary
The well was a creepy old thing. It had had a rickety roof at one point, but the corresponding bucket had broken off years ago and fell uselessly to the bottom far, far down. 15 feet down. He and Steve had taken turns dropping big rocks down the shaft of it when they were dumb little kids. The well was nearly dry, just a thin, filmy layer of grey water at the bottom. The walls of it were craggy old stone that Two-Bit had dared him to climb down at some point, which Soda had promptly chickened out of.
With a tornado barrelling down on Tulsa, it didn't seem as scary.
...
Sodapop Curtis picks a bad night to have a bad night, and gets caught out under a tornado headed right through the east side of Tulsa.

Summary
"Good pilgrim," she stuttered. Juliet was supposed to be flustered, right? "You do wrong your hands too much." June was holding her hands, the two of them standing face to face with the script open on Pony's bed next to them to be glanced at. Even though she remembered the line, Pony glanced anyways so she could avoid June's eye. "Which mannerly devotion shows in this… for saints have hands that pilgrim's hands do touch." The words didn't feel so awkward and stilted as they did when she was reading alone, but it did feel more difficult all the same.
...
Pony has to perform Romeo and Juliet at school. She and her best friend who she definitely doesn't have a crush on practice some lines together.

Summary
“Dar?” Soda said. “Something wrong?”
I looked down at the thing Darry was looking at and my heart dropped. I knew what it was exactly.
“Why are you reading that?” I said. I kind of yelled it I guess. I dunno why. Something in my chest felt wrong and it felt easier to yell. It didn’t feel good though, not when Darry’s face twisted a little more and he pushed away the papers.
“I’m sorry Ponyboy, it was laying out and— and it had that stamp,” his voice trailed off and got quiet. Darry didn’t get quiet most of the time, especially not when he was upset about something. He got loud usually. Not quiet.
Or: what happens if Darry reads The Outsiders (including all the things Pony said about him) and Soda finally admits you can’t always smile through life.

Summary
Hitoshi moves in with Shota and Hizashi, and it’s better than anything he'd ever had, but he's not the only object of their attention. They have a little girl, Eri. The thing about Eri is that she’s excessively sweet, friendly, and glittery. And she gets on Hitoshi’s nerves. Badly.
Because why would anyone want someone mean, difficult, and hard to love, when they had a sweet, lovable little girl?

Tim Drake used to love photography. He used to be pretty damn good at it, too.
He doesn't do it so much anymore.
And he isn't sure why that seems to bother Damian so much.

Summary
Apparently, Mr. Oz decided psychologically torturing a 15 year-old for six months was no longer "cool." And now Tim's paying the price for that, because instead of killing him like any good, self-respecting villain would, he's dropped him back on Earth with an apology and a snack.
Or,
It's been six months for Tim. It's been 10 years for Tim's family.
I'm sure it will all be fine.

Summary
“Batman was getting dangerously close to crossing a line that Tim had been so sure he would never cross.
“It became obvious to Tim that Batman needed a Robin. He was this close to tracking down Dick just to get him to take back the role. It would have exposed that Tim knew the truth, but it would have been worth it. And if Dick wouldn't do it, if it really came down to it? He’d throw on tights if he had to, drag Batman back to the light himself.
“Batman needed a Robin. And maybe that's why Tim was so relieved when Spoiler, a young vigilante clad in purple, showed up out of the blue and refused to leave Batman alone.”
Or,
Seventeen year old Tim Drake, CEO and stalker extraordinaire, has known the truth about the Bats ever since he was a kid. But he never put on the Robin suit.
Following a gala and breakout at Arkham, Tim reluctantly finds himself drawn into the Batfamily’s orbit. And although no secret stays buried forever, nobody could have predicted the disaster to come.
Or,
A Tim joins the batfamily late au!
