    Summary

Waking suddenly to intruders in their base was never exactly going to be a fun way to spend the rest of their night. But in the process Dabi gets a face full of some weird quirk and his temperature is starting to creep higher and higher the more he fights the urge to spill his guts to the rest of the League. He has more secrets to hide than most and is really not keen on giving them up, especially not after how horrified everyone is already looking at him as they hear about the first.

    Summary

Following their raid on the CRC mansion, the League of Villains finds themselves transformed into animal mutation heteromorphs. When Spinner was overwhelmed, Dabi was forced to call Hawks in for backup, so that the two could try to help the rest of the League figure out how to navigate these changes. Now they all have animal instincts and things are running a little closer to the surface. Hawks is struggling not to feel like he has a real flock for the first time in his life when he's never been allowed to be a bird in front of other people before and Dabi is trying to figure out how to stop purring and hissing every time the others push his mood in one direction or the other. And Shigaraki is a spider. Which. Creepy and horrifying, but he very strangely doesn't really seem to mind.

    Summary

The heroes had lost. Everyone could see it crystal clear now that Tomura Shigaraki was seconds away from wiping out the city with a single hand, along with all the heroes around. The one battle that they couldn’t afford to lose was going to end with dust. There would be nothing left.

In Hawks’ mind, he had it coming. He had failed to finish his mission properly, getting overwhelmed by his emotions when the moment came to betray Twice. He had failed to save his colleagues. He had failed to kill Dabi, the man he loved and who now wanted him dead. He had given up on the one thing that brought a genuine smile on his face.

As Shigaraki lowered himself to the ground, seconds away from using his decaying power, Hawks for the first time, resigned himself to die. There wasn’t anything left he could do.

At least, he thought so until a wave of heat and blue flames erupted around him.

The strangest thing was, it didn’t burn.
