Summary
“Could you show me?”
Lewis’ head snapped up at that, wide eyes on Charles as he stared down at the counter, pretending to have a deep interest in the granite. He had said it so quietly that Lewis almost thought he imagined it, but Charles’ red cheeks were confirmation enough.
“What?” He asked anyway, wanted to see Charles get redder.
“Nothing,” Charles replied quickly, finally looked at him, wide-eyed, just for a second, smiled with a nervous laugh, “Just a—a joke.”
Lewis shut the fridge door, pursing his lips. “Didn’t sound like a joke.”

Summary
“You said I could tell you anything, right?” He questioned, voice light, soft.
Sebastian jumped a little at the proximity of Lewis’ voice, but turned towards him, wiping his hand over his face like he was trying to forget something. Then he looked at Lewis, pure devotion in his eyes. “Of course, Lewis.”
“I think you’re jealous.”

Summary
“That’s all it takes for you, huh?” Lewis joked, lips quirking up as he lifted his gaze back to him, but Toto didn’t laugh.
“You. You are all it takes,” he replied, accent thick, sounding like he meant it, like he was wounded by it.

Summary
“Lewis, you must know how badly I—how much I need you.” Charles breathed out harsh through his nose. “My rut, your heat, it has nothing to do with it.”
Lewis looked up at him, eyes wide and imploring. He took a deep breath, eyes falling to Charles’s lips then up again, swallowing, crossing the line.
“Prove it.” He whispered, and he could see a fire light in Charles’ eyes. The alpha paused for just a second before shoving Lewis against the door, grabbing both sides of his face and kissing him.

Summary
Hojo puts Sephiroth in a vat of mako directly connected with the Planet’s core. He thinks this will give him massive amounts of power. Really it just teleports him into Middle Earth. Specifically, it teleports him into Middle Earth just outside the gates of Greenwood the Great; Thranduil is not happy about this.
He is also displeased with the fact that Sephiroth is nearly-so he tells himself-as gloriously attractive as he is.

Summary
"You’ve all grown so much," their mother says.
Edmund is too young to register, but older now than he was at his first war; Lucy, who had been so young when they had left, grew into herself in a world filled with magic. All of them, they have responsibility pressed into their shoulders, old ropes they can’t even grasp for. No one is asking them to take that mantle on their shoulders, and that’s the hardest part. You get used to the weight. You build your world around it, build your identity into the crooks and crannies of the load you carry.
Susan has forgotten about being a child. She is the blessed, the chosen, the promised. Susan has decades on her classmates, wars, loss and betrayal, victory and growing fields, the trust of her subjects. It was a visceral thing, to have all those lives under her protection and to know that her subjects slept safe, peacefully, on dark nights.
Here, on this drab concrete, her people are untouchable, indefensible; her self is vanished, her kingdom gone; she can feel the loss like a wound. She has lost her power, but that trust, that responsibility remains. It circles her ankles, trips her in the school hallways.
