Summary
“Could you show me?”
Lewis’ head snapped up at that, wide eyes on Charles as he stared down at the counter, pretending to have a deep interest in the granite. He had said it so quietly that Lewis almost thought he imagined it, but Charles’ red cheeks were confirmation enough.
“What?” He asked anyway, wanted to see Charles get redder.
“Nothing,” Charles replied quickly, finally looked at him, wide-eyed, just for a second, smiled with a nervous laugh, “Just a—a joke.”
Lewis shut the fridge door, pursing his lips. “Didn’t sound like a joke.”

Summary
“You said I could tell you anything, right?” He questioned, voice light, soft.
Sebastian jumped a little at the proximity of Lewis’ voice, but turned towards him, wiping his hand over his face like he was trying to forget something. Then he looked at Lewis, pure devotion in his eyes. “Of course, Lewis.”
“I think you’re jealous.”

“That’s all it takes for you, huh?” Lewis joked, lips quirking up as he lifted his gaze back to him, but Toto didn’t laugh.
“You. You are all it takes,” he replied, accent thick, sounding like he meant it, like he was wounded by it.

Summary
“Lewis, you must know how badly I—how much I need you.” Charles breathed out harsh through his nose. “My rut, your heat, it has nothing to do with it.”
Lewis looked up at him, eyes wide and imploring. He took a deep breath, eyes falling to Charles’s lips then up again, swallowing, crossing the line.
“Prove it.” He whispered, and he could see a fire light in Charles’ eyes. The alpha paused for just a second before shoving Lewis against the door, grabbing both sides of his face and kissing him.

Summary
Sebastian had listened to him casually talk about staying flexible one day during a press conference, about stretching, saying it helped with his back, needed it more as he got older. And he didn’t think much of it at first, just nodded his head and said something about how he should probably start stretching as well, mildly distracted by the reporter asking Charles a question beside him.
It was a few days later, when he walked into the Mercedes garage, that he was hit with the reality of Lewis’ words.

Summary
Lewis was crying now, tears on his face when Lando peeked up—and fuck if that wasn’t a beautiful sight—but he had a hand in Lando’s hair, urging him forward, scratching at his scalp in eager need. Lewis wanted this, bad, wanted to feel everything, more than everything, wanted to fly over the edge and even further still.
Just like the winner he is, Lando thought.

Damson had never seen him look so—at ease, like he was allowing himself to be himself now, like he was letting Damson in on a secret. And he looked beautiful doing it.
“God, Lewis,” Damson’s gaze flickered up and down again, couldn’t help it, eyes heavy and tongue peeking out to wet his lips, “you’re a dream.”

Summary
“You’re what, twenty-two, Franco? Christ, I should never have entertained this.”
And then there were arms wrapping around his stomach, making him stand ramrod straight in surprise, a broken gasp forcing its way out of his throat as his hands unconsciously reached out to grab onto Franco’s where they laid across his t-shirt.
“Let me show you,” Franco whispered against his ear, causing goosebumps to rise against the skin on Lewis’ neck, “how good I can be, Mommy.”

Summary
“Yes, really,” he emphasizes his point by scratching his nails along Charles’ scalp, making him let out a quiet moan, “I wasn’t lying the other day when I said you’re like a puppy.”
Charles breath hitches, but he doesn’t respond, just sticks his face into the crook of Lewis’ neck and—
Oh.
Okay, so Charles’ weird reaction that day makes sense now, if his dick twitching almost violently against Lewis’ stomach is anything to go by.

Summary
It was always hard to find alphas that would let Lewis be in charge, would let him lead, would wait for him to make the first move. He wanted to savor this, how perfect Charles was. How, even as Lewis stood there contemplating, the alpha wasn’t moving, was just continuing to stare at his mouth like it was his salvation. Charles was so good.

“I don’t know. I mean—it would need to be adoption. It’s not like you can—” he paused, clearing his throat. “It’s not like you can get me. Pregnant.”
Rook hummed again. There was something about the way Lucanis said it. Like he had thought about it before, Rook not being able to knock him up. It opened up a brand new box of curiosity in Rook’s mind, previous line of questioning completely forgotten. After a beat of silence, he spoke.
“Would you like it if I could?”

Summary
He pushed the elf against the wall, satisfaction filling his throat at the loud thump of Solas’s body and whoosh of air leaving his lungs. Solas looked up, offended, ready to yell at him again, but Katari beat him to it.
“You’re really toeing the line here, mage.” He snapped, irritation clouding his tone.
Solas shoved at him hard, but Katari was a wall of muscle towering over him, and the elf’s strength was little match for his solid, sure stance.
Solas huffed. “And you’re stepping over it completely, you brute.”

Summary
Rook let out a soft laugh into the crook of Lucanis’ neck, making the man shiver, then pulled back just enough to make eye contact.
“Do I scare you, Lucanis?” He asked, low and heated and honey-filled.
The Crow’s eyes grew round, flicking between Rook’s own, then down to his lips, back up again. His own lips parted and Rook could feel his breath coming out in short huffs, could smell coffee and fruit and mint. He brought his face nearer, their mouths so close Rook doubted the spine of a knife could pass through.
Lucanis swallowed, looked up at him with those warm midnight eyes. “You have no idea.”

Summary
He really does feel like a chantry brother who lost his faith. Only his deity is tangible and human and alive. He’s awkward and righteous and frustratingly naive for someone who’s spent his whole life navigating the wretched politics of Tevinter. And Tarquin made the mistake that many followers of gods do: he fell in love.

Hawke can wake up now and not immediately think of the Arishok. And even when he does, the sting has dulled. It’s still there, he suspects it always will be, but most of the time it feels like the ache of an old wound when the weather is poor. A muted pulsing, a phantom limb.
