Summary
Back then, the Watchers were seen as benevolent deities. Blessing the people with life and joy.
But that was five years ago.
Suddenly, the Watchers had turned. They weren’t as benevolent as they were before. Their blessings turned into curses as the world rotted into destruction and despair.
Grian, currently suffering from a strange case of amnesia, wakes up in the midst of this destroyed world. With a vague note and an eccentric man named Scar, Grian traverses across the land in order to find a way to completely restore his own memory.
Martyn and his two companions, Pearl and Scott, search for freedom. For a place that isn’t the desolate land they are trapped in. The only thing blocking their path is a field of dangerous traps, and their unwillingness to trust each other.
The two groups meet, and whilst finding the answers to many of their questions, they discover that their fates may be more intertwined than they could have ever imagined.

Aka: If I had a nickel for every apocalypse AU I’ve written where one of the characters has amnesia, I’d have two. Which isn’t a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Summary
Martyn Woods, troublemaking teenage boy, is sent away by his parents to spend the summer with his strange distant relatives, Grian and Gemini Taylor in a tiny English costal town called Seaborough.
He expects this to be the most boring summer of his life, but upon arrival, he is thrust into a strange and magical adventure beyond his wildest dreams.
Discovering magical creatures and monsters, and even a charming siren boy named Scott, he decides that maybe he could get used to the strange townsfolk, and maybe even his relatives. As he makes it his quest to unravel all of the mysterious secrets everyone is keeping. Unaware of the danger that lurks just outside of view.
