Summary
“What’s the most important thing you’ve ever gambled?“
“My heart.” Yumeko said faintly, almost in a whisper.
“Did you win?” He asked, genuinely interested in the answer.
Yumeko was still looking at Kira when she replied.
“I don’t know yet.”
When Kira gambled against Ryan so Yumeko would become her house pet during The Bet Gala, she was not expecting the girl to be so obedient… or to show her such deep loyalty that would let her world upside down.

Summary
Every summer since they were children, the Timurov sisters had spent their vacation at the lake house. It was their yearly escape—a time to breathe, to unwind, and to savour the calm before returning to their demanding studies.
But this summer felt different. A new family had moved into the house across the lake. The Jabamis. And with them came their daughter—strikingly beautiful, dangerously captivating, and impossible to ignore.
