Within minutes, the familiar sound of a siren in the distance signalled that the firefighters were on their way. The truck stopped in front of the garage and Tony couldn’t help but notice the firefighter who was the first to step out. Tall, muscular, with a determined and focused look, the young man moved with the confidence of someone who knew exactly what to do. He had to be in his twenties, with short blond hair and eyes as blue as a winter sky. Tony felt his breath catch for a moment.
“Are you the owner of the cat?” the firefighter asked, getting straight to the point.
Tony nodded, trying to clear his throat. “Yes, he’s mine. I don’t know how he ended up there. Usually, he’s more of a… couch kind of guy.”

“What the hell is going on here?” Stark demands. “Does somebody wanna explain why they’ve got my foster kid pressed up against the wall like he’s some kind of criminal?”
“Your- your foster kid?”
Stark throws his hands up in the air with exasperation. “Yes, my foster kid. Lordy, do you two go outside? Or better yet, do you even work here? How have you not heard about this?”
