As a fellow transmigration, it was quite unbelievable and annoying how anyone could simply decide to try in saving everyone from their tragic lives. Especially to those average to normal people who wanted to change and save every single one of them because of pity or unable to handle the pieces of information they have because of said stories they had read.
Or simply having a heroic (stupid) goal like saving the world.
It's already hard trying to live one life, and yet, they tried to carry the burden and heavy responsibility of saving the world.
Especially when it's the Naruto world.
For Mirai, it was simply an unbelievable situation.
How could they be so ambitious to save people and the world because they knew one of the possible futures of the world they had been born or transmigrated?
How could they carry such an extremely heavy burden and responsibilities without being forced or when no one had even asked them to do it?
They are either so self-sacrificing, feeling self-importance, arrogant, or have the ‘I’m the protagonist’ illness.
After all, how could they dare to even think of carrying the entire responsibility because of mere pity, or feeling wrong about their ‘favorite character’ life?
It's like they are acting like a God, deciding everyone's fate and destiny just because they have information about the world they reincarnated or transmigrated because of reading manga or watching anime.
Most of them don’t even try to think or assumed that the world they are living in might be different from what they know.
Of course, for Mirai, everyone had their own choice since they will be the ones to face the consequences of their own actions.
She is just complaining because she found their ideas and decision unbelievable. It would have been understandable if they had done all those heroic actions because they have grown close to some of the people while living their new life.
Not because they suddenly decided to go ahead and do some changes after a couple of minutes or days of accepting the fact that they are now in Naruto world.
Then they became stressed, anxious, and paranoid after something went different or had gone wrong because they went and integrated into the lives of the ‘character’ they like or feel immense pity with.
Honestly, they should have been prepared for it the moment they decided to go ahead and try to make the entire situation better.
Anyway, when Mirai found herself in the body of a five-year-old girl, along with the original memories (thankfully), and learn that she is in Naruto's world, well, she took a few days to decide on what she will do and how she will move from then on.
Fortunately, she only has the babysitter around, which in their responsible way for a Ninja, just making sure she wasn’t in danger, eating her food at the exact time, and leaving her alone while in the perimeter of their protection.
So, she stayed in her room for nap time most of the time to strategies her situation, which didn’t cause any suspicion about how she acted.
Well, it is also great that she belongs to the Nara Clan known for their laziness and love for sleeping around. Albeit, she doesn’t belong to the main branch of the Nara Clan and is in the middle rank when it comes to family geology.
However, from the memories she had and the people she had met so far, only those closely related to the main bloodline had acted the way Shikamaru had done most of the time in the stories.
Not everyone in the Nara Clan is extremely lazy and loves to sleep a lot of time. Or else the Clan wouldn’t be functioning if all of the people are the same.
Of course, there is also the privilege of the main bloodline and the one close to the main branch. Even if the Nara Clan is one of the best Clans in the Konohagukere Village, there is still powerful play at hand.
Anyway, Mirai doesn’t mind it, especially when she was already fortunate enough to be born into the Nara Clan instead of the stressful one, like the Uchiha and Hyuuga Clan. And the fact that she was born in a Clan instead of being an orphan or born civilian.
No matter what the world is, they will always be a privilege at hand, and being born in a Clan in this world, even if she wasn’t in the upper hierarchy is far better than she could ever have.
There is also the fact that she had always been calm-headed and a bit cold-blooded even in her previous life, making it easier for her to accept the situation she found herself in. And the fact that she didn’t go ahead of ‘Oh my god, Oh my god, did I just steal the life of a five-year-old girl?’ kind of existential crisis after transmigrating.
It was also a good personality trait to have with the way the Naruto world is.
For now, though, there is war at hand, which is the start of the Third Shinobi War, making it easier to figure out which timeline she is in. Of course, even though she had complained about those transmigrators assuming the world is the exact one from their memories, didn’t mean she wouldn't use the pieces of information on her situation.
She just wouldn't go in her way and thought that everything would remain the same. Heck, she might even be in an alternate universe from the one she had known.
For now though, at the age of five years old, she was in an important moment in her life to decide what she would become. Just like a 'what would she like to be in the future?' kind of thing.
Which was to decide what kind of a ninja she would be.
Because there is no denying the fact that there is no choice about her other than becoming a ninja.
Good Clan or not, the Village wouldn’t let go of anyone with great potential, and unfortunately, the body Mirai transmigrated happened to be one.
Especially when there is a war at hand.

For a Clan, extremely well known for its amazing intelligence, especially when it comes to great strategies because of the main bloodline, the Nara clan definitely had a lot of smart people around.
And Mirai extremely loves it.
Instead of being born average or slightly smart, she prefers to have a prodigious mind. Of course, compared to the main branch, she could tell that there is no comparison when it comes to the Clan head and heir, which is Shikaku, who is in his teenage years.
Even if she had an older mentality because of her previous life, it doesn't mean she would be better than most of the people around her, especially the younger ones.
She wasn't that arrogant, particularly when this world is completely different from her previous one. There are countless genius people around her, which also matured far earlier.
Anyway, as for being Ninja.
Mirai wasn’t really against the idea, because she wanted to have the power to protect herself even if she wasn’t going to be outstanding or overpowered. At least, she wouldn’t be defenseless if she were to be a civilian.
Especially when in her memories and if it were to also really happen, the Village would be completely destroyed once, and there will be countless times it will be invaded. Added with the new story about Naruto's children in the future even though she didn't really read it, so, yeah, it was quite obvious there won't be long-lasting peace even if this world also won the future fourth shinobi war.
Honestly, nothing is safe in this world and the fact that she wanted to see how long she could survive because there is no denying the fact that she would die.
It just depend on how long she could live and how she would die in this world.
Be it in the previous life or in this world, there is no stopping the fact that every living being would one day die.
So, Mirai wouldn’t stress herself too much and desperately try to live a long life.
Just go with the flow, she doesn’t want to worry, be stressed, and be paranoid in every single waking moment of her new life.
Because in her opinion, that is not living.
Mirai would just live how she had done so far, it's just in a new life, new situation, and new world.
Anyway, as a matter of being a ninja, Mirai knew what she wanted, especially when it was obvious that she wouldn't be overpowered when it comes to chakra level.
And hey, if Haruno Sakura could do it, then even she could do it. She might not become as awesome as Haruno Sakura when it comes to medical talent and skills.
But, she wouldn’t be half-hearted about it. As long as she is able to do it, and had done everything she could then there will be no regret if she were not skilled enough. Besides, she wasn’t a person who is easy to get jealous and envious of other people's talent.
Especially, if her pride is going to be hurt because of comparison.
Mirai had always been able to know her direction and goal in life.
She won’t cry and scream about unfairness, because she knew that there will always be someone far more skillful and talented than her. Besides, everyone had their own problem and trouble to face in life.
Be it a genius child or an unskilled person.
Anyway, she wasn’t just going to study medical skills, although she might be more focused on it, especially if Senju Tsunade had already left the Village during the Third Shinobi War if her information is right about the story since it been awhile the last time she finishes reading it.
And she doesn't know if it's going to be a similar world to the story or an alternate dimension.
Anyway, Mirai has figured out what her specialist will be as a ninja.
Especially when she has a ninja father to take care of if need be since her father is gone because of the war.
Mirai might not have the ‘I’ll save everyone!’, ‘I’m going to make the world a better one!’ or ‘I’ll become powerful so that they could respect and admire me!’ goal, but the five years of memories weren’t simply memories, it felt like she had lived it too.
So, her affection and love toward her father are sincere and genuine.
Mirai wanted the man safe, even though, being a skilled medic might not be helpful in the end, but, at least she is doing something.
Of course, it doesn’t mean she wanted to only study medical jutsu, there are other interesting to learn and experiment with in this new life, especially when she has the brain to do it.
For now, though, she will have to attend the ninja academy to learn the basics before focusing on her chosen specialist.
Because unlike most fanfiction she had read so far, she doesn't have to be the same as the Rookie 9 in Naruto generation, needing to graduate and be placed in a genin team.
Instead, she will study under someone and become the person's apprentice.
Mirai is really fortunate to be born into the Nara Clan with her father being important enough to let her have more choices of becoming a ninja.

The Character's age and timeline will not be accurate, since it's really hard for me to know everyone's ages, what time the events happen, and stuff.
