Everybody knew about the tiny apartment on the East End of L'manberg, hiding in a far corner of the lower districts.
A place everyone was welcome, regardless of their given title.
Where villains could come for medical treatment.
Where mafia goons and bosses could rest without the need to look over their shoulders.
Where vigilantes and heroes could have a nice chat over tea.
Where treatment (and treats) were given out freely.Where societal tags (and their due expectations) were shot and murdered at the front door.
And if you ignored this rule, you too were shot and murdered at the front door.
By whom was a gamble.Everybody knew about the tiny apartment on the East End of L'manberg.
Everybody also knew that if you touched any of the occupants, well...
You'd have the entirety of super-powered society (underground and otherwise) gunning for your head.Tommy Innit, the owner of said apartment, lived quite the interesting life.

Summary
Suddenly the cool metal was gone and a loud thump sounded though the alley. The clanking of a knife hitting the ground as the man groaned.
Wilbur whipped his head around to see a pair of bright red wings fluttering behind someone. The person slapped a pair of handcuffs on the man and sat up, turning around to look at Wilbur.
Wilbur’s eyes widened. The man had a black suit with red accents on. A mask on that hooked onto his jaw and crept up his face to just above his eyebrows. Blonde hair poked out above it. Fiery red tips at the ends.
The man brushed his hair back with a small ‘whew’, “That was a close one!”
Wilbur blinked at the man, the hero, who’s voice was modified and changed to sound slightly distorted but he could still hear the sound of a voice crack.
This hero must be young.
“Hey man. You alright?” The hero asked.
Or, Wilbur, a homeless street musician, is saved by a young hero who he quickly gets attached to. Tommy meets a strange guitar man who seems a lot nicer than his mentor, Dream.
If any CCs state they are uncomfortable with this kind of fic then I will take it down!

Red Chaos was the name the world had bestowed upon him, and Dream had laughed as he dragged Tommy down against his chest in a rough sprawl back against the couch, squeezing him tight after their first official mission together.
Tommy had done good and Dream had been proud.

Summary
When the Heroes Association shut down for good, most heroes had already been on suspension for months. It still felt so sudden. The titan that once ruled over not just Tommy’s entire life, but all of society, was gone.
In hindsight, the fall started even before the Syndicate existed. Maybe even before he was born. But every sign of a failing system felt like more proof it could never be undone. The rampant corruption and misuse of power were all symptoms of a diseased tyrant who died on his deathbed.
Now here they are. No more heroes.

Or, The Syndicate took down the Heroes Association. Tommy's an ex-hero who has no idea what he's supposed to do now, especially without Dream's guidance. Help comes from unexpected people, namely ex-villain and retired leader of The Syndicate, The Angel of Death himself. And his annoying sons.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Summary
A routine mission to deal with a small time group of thieves goes south when Tommy finds himself in the middle of a Syndicate operation. Thieves or not, people were in danger and Tommy was a hero.
Hopelessly outmatched Tommy intervenes, handing an even better prize to the Syndicate on a silver platter. But before the Syndicate’s most sadistic leader can turn his latest catch into another pawn in his game, said sidekick throws himself in harm's way in order to save the villain's life.
The Syndicate always repays its debts, even to heroes. A life for a life. But this victory for Order came at the cost of the Syndicate’s claim on one unaware sidekick. And no one escapes the Syndicate.
