After countless resets and endless repetition.. something has changed. The timeline has began shifting, changing its path for the first time in a long time. A new path Flowey hasn't seen before.
Well, it might take Clover longer to reach Asgore but Flowey has all the time in the world after all. And seeing something new finally happen has piqued his curiosity. Drawn in by the unfamiliar, Flowey watches with morbid fascination as Clover is not able to give up his soul this time. Encounters shift, monsters react differently, and the world itself begins to remember things it was never meant to.
Events shuffle. Characters act out of turn. Rooms appear where there were none. And for the first time in countless resets, Flowey doesn't know what comes next. Clover's fate is uncertain. Though Flowey knows he will get those human souls, no matter what.

In the year 210X, a human named Reuben fell into the deep caverns of Mt. Ebott. With an apron, backpack, and his trusty frying pan, he has to find a way back home.
Along the way, Reuben meets and makes strange new friends... like a talking flower, a large goat creature, pirates, and more.
This green SOUL interpretation tries to stay as close to canon as it can! (Ignoring Flowey existing and, uh, some other stuff.)
The story is going to be somewhat different from my actual AU... I'll call this the "Fanfiction Variant".. (Wow, my green take has 3 variants...) -

Except you can’t just copy and paste a soul! Well, Gaster can’t. So there’s a few minor errors! (That don’t appear in chapter one.)

Frisk has done it—gotten to the end, gathered the souls, spared everyone… Yet, the barrier stands strong. Madness ensues when humans start falling down to the Underground again… and the true enemy manifests in the form of a glitch between worlds.
Chara is back. Papyrus has a gay awakening. You take the role of the player. Asriel reconnects with his feelings. Sans reconnects, in general.
(Kind of my thoughts on all three endings mixed together. A little AU-y, especially with Chara's story. May not be 100% accurate to the series, some bits may be cringe taken seriously, others may be out of character, but that's fine. Headcanon: Paps is 18-24, Sans is 26-30.)
