It has been five years since The Dream SMP first came across my radar. Little did I know, upon clicking on my first Wilbur Soot YouTube video entitled 'I Started a Revolution on the Dream SMP,' that I would be launched into a phenomenon so profound that YouTube, Twitch, and gaming culture have not seen since its ending. The Dream SMP became a lifeline during some of the most tumultuous years of my life, and I decided to reflect on my experiences, what I loved most about the SMP, and a few musings about the community.

Anon, they veil the path."Kinoko Kingdom has changed. Drastically.
Laws and ordinances, put into operation just after the death of the Triad of Kinoko (consisting of Karl Jacobs, Sapnap, and GeorgeNotFound), have made the place into something unrecognisable. Some residing in this modern hole-in-the-wall some 150 mo- er, years later argue that the changes are for the better. Some say they are for worse.
But what of our protagonist? For every story has one, dear reader, whether the poor soul realises it or not. Where do they stand? How do these laws and demands affect them, their daily life? (For that matter, how are they able to live?)
And what would they do- hypothetically- if everything fell to hell in a handbasket before their very eyes?
...Well. Let's find out together, shall we?

In another world, maybe Tommy goes back. In another he seeks help - Techno, Sam, even Tubbo. Sometimes it goes well. Sometimes, it goes incredibly wrong. It doesn't matter, because in this world, Tommy turns his back on the ocean, on Logstedshire, and he turns his back on the Tundra. He takes Mexican Dream's nearly broken set of armor, Tubbo's compass, his photos. A stone pickaxe he's just crafted and a sword that could help him against mobs. Two loaves of breads he created from the wheat he just took from the nearby village. An apple that fell from a birch tree, a bit old and weird but still good. His ender chest, with everything inside. He doesn't turn back, even if he wants too, and Tommy disappears in the forest nearby, and start running.

In which Tommy never goes to Technoblade but, instead, escapes exile by running away, and ends up adopting some children who needed help just like him.
This story is about fictional characters, it's not RPF.

Summary
After Tommyinnit dies in prison, he spends several months in Limbo, and gets some much needed therapy from the reformed dead members of the Smp. This means that he is not expecting it when Dream tries to bring him back, and even more not expecting it when Dream accidentally brings the other three back with him. Now with the other ghosts stuck in Tommy’s head and able to posses his body, Tommy needs to figure out how to navigate life with his ghostly companions, and maybe establish normal mental health on the way!
