“Yeah, well, those dumb things usually don’t involve decapitated bots,” he huffed. “But… fine, okay. If I die, I’m coming back to haunt you.”

简介：当塞伯坦面临外星人入侵，即将毁灭时，档案管理员奥利安·派克斯潜入星球深处，寻找传说中的守护者。结果，奥利安发现了威震天——一个统治着怪物王国的怪物。为了拯救自己的家园，奥利安被迫与威震天达成了一项非同寻常的交易。
奥/柱=美女，威=野兽的美女与野兽AU
剧情大概是奥在塞星被外星人侵略期间去地下找传说里的守护者aka威震天帮忙。但是被威震天拒绝了，奥再三请求下，威震天问他有什么能交换的东西，奥思索了一下说除了自己什么都没有，所以只能提供陪伴，威震天答应了。
停留在地下期间奥发现了威震天守护着的神器，威震天误以为他不怀好意，差点杀掉他，但是追杀途中遇到变形有机体（吃赛博人能量的地下怪物），两个人一起合力把变形有机体杀掉了，但威震天受了致命伤，奥本来可以离开但是于心不忍，于是反过来给威震天做了急救，于是和好。后来关系逐渐变好，对接+1（这里对接设定是数据线插传输口里，类似usb接口，在胸口和腰侧）这一段双方都同时用了数据线和接口，大概算互攻。
战争结束之后，威震天让红蜘蛛把奥利安送回地面，奥利安发现地面上的人要把威震天找出来利用或者杀掉，担心之下就去找威震天，结果在从地上人手里保护神器的时候被选中了（没错神器就是矩阵）这里的设定是prime的命令是绝对的，必须遵守，所以地上人在擎天柱的命令下无奈地离开了，留下威震天和擎天柱独处。
威震天再次暴怒，因为他觉得prime/矩阵是想要奴役他或者奴役他和奥利安，擎天柱拼命解释，最后通过数据接口把威震天重编程了。这里终于解释了前因后果，威震天很久以前被竞天择（Zeta Prime）安排来做星球的守护者，但是在某个阶段之后就被要求呆在地下自生自灭，prime的命令无法被打破，所以很多年来威震天一直带着机械昆虫在地底生活，对他来说奥利安成为擎天柱就是换了个奴隶主（并且同时奥利安也成为了矩阵的奴隶）。

Mustering his strength, he pulled the other mech closer, dragging his audio sensor next to his mouth, “Rust.”

He knew the moment Megatronus realized what he had done, heard the enraged bellow, but he was beyond caring.

Optimus gasped and clung to Megatron, shaking. The last command of a dead Prime, the final links of a chain binding a mech beneath the surface, a prisoner in the darkness.
擎天柱喘息着，紧紧抱住威震天，浑身颤抖。那是一个死去的领袖留下的最后命令，是一条将机体锁于地表之下的锁链，是困于黑暗中的囚徒的枷锁。
“So now you know.”
“现在你知道了。”
Optimus shook his head, mute with grief.
擎天柱摇了摇头，悲痛得说不出话来。
Megatron laughed without humor, “And now, after I nearly ripped my core coding to pieces to escape one prison, after an aeon trapped in another, I wear a new set of chains.”
威震天冷笑，“现在，我为了逃离一座监狱几乎撕碎了我的核心代码，在另一个牢笼里度过无尽岁月之后，我又戴上了新的锁链。”
知道事情的来由之后，擎天柱想给威震天一个平等的关系，所以他们俩成为了火伴。
结局是一起回到地面之后，擎天柱看着威震天变形为飞机离开（全文唯一一次，估计地下没空间吧，有点poor）去召集军队和议会对抗。
似乎是有中文翻译，但是翻译的人并没有发布在ao3上
