I will forever love looking back on this fic, it's such a distinct snapshot of my interests at a specific point in my life.

Karl wishes he would’ve chosen a more comfortable hiding place, but it was too late now.
He was halfway out a window in some dark, dank alleyway in the middle of the night, his camera set up on a tripod on the fire escape in front of him. The windowsill was digging into his hips uncomfortably, the pressure against his lower stomach reminding him how long he’d been waiting there, how desperately he wished the bathrooms in this abandoned apartment complex worked.
