Summary
Ryomen Sukuna did not possess a soul.
This was not a snipe at his amorality, but in fact, a literal observation one could make if they peered deep enough into the depths of his being. No matter how far one ventures into the abyss, no semblance of humanity could be unearthed, coddled, and dragged back to the surface in some piss-poor attempt at redemption or resuscitation of a life once lost.
❤ Instead of going after Megumi when Sukuna took control at the detention center, the curse decided to use his limited time in control a bit differently. What may come of it remains uncertain, but nothing good ever came from the curse's schemes. Especially for Yuji.

Summary
Seizing the opportunity before him, the curse moved his hands to Yuji’s waist and lifted him up in the air, finding amusement in the sudden yelp that escaped the teenager’s lips as he was hoisted over Sukuna’s shoulder. After the initial shock had come and gone, the second of peace was disrupted by the flailing legs failing to kick anywhere near Sukuna’s face.
“H-Hey! Sukuna! Put me down—”
“I may not possess the same stature I once had, but I can still do this.”
Proud of himself, Sukuna took his time parading Yuji through his domain, sights set on returning to his throne with his lover in hand. Despite no one else being present to witness them, the curse suspected that if he were to turn the teenager around in his arms, a bright red would be there to greet him. As would a fist aimed somewhere along his jawline if the thrashing against his back was anything to go by.
❤ The completely canon interaction between Yuji and Sukuna when meeting up in Sukuna's innate domain after Yuji's first death where they kiss, make up, and possibly plan a murder or two along the way.

“Keep an eye on the stove for me, will you? I’ll handle talking things out with this guy here.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course I’m sure. Nanamin just has a few questions that need answering for his job. Then he’ll be leaving, then we can have dinner.” Itadori’s confidence was almost as concerning as his knowledge of Nanami’s name. To then twist it into a nickname as if they held any familiarity—Nanami counted himself thankful that Itadori appeared far more cooperative than he expected him to be. Yoshino was ushered deeper back into the home before his friend(?) beckoned Nanami to step aside to allow their conversation to continue with a modicum of privacy.
He then remained silent, hands tucked deep into the front pockets of his pants in wait for Nanami's first question.
“What are you?”
“Tired, mostly.”
❤ Nanami investigates the death of three teenagers within a Kawasaki movie theater. He is not prepared for what else he finds.

“Ok?” Junpei wasn’t exactly sure why Geto would support this or where the man was coming from. “But even if I text him… Why would he say yes? Why would he respond at all?”
“Who knows? All sorcerers are just a bit crazier than the rest of the population. Whatever the reason, giving up before you begin seems counterproductive.” Geto tossed Junpei’s phone into his lap, causing the teenager to miss it entirely when swiping at it with his fingers. “Mahito said you were quite spineless when you two first met. Kind of like that shikigami you summon.”
Geto was quite amused with the comparison.
Junpei was not.
“But, your confidence grew quite quickly. Now it seems you’ve hit a plateau.” The monk rose from the sand. He stepped forward, eyes cast over the ocean. “If you're hesitating over a boy, how can we trust you not to hesitate over something far more consequential?”
❤ Despite joining Mahito and the other disaster curses, Junpei doesn't want to lose the only human he could connect with. There was something between them that couldn't be ignored, but what was he to do when they were on opposing sides?

Standard Self-Insert Isekai story. Except she's like four years old and her only options are trying to get people to talk to each other and being adorable. Near bachelors degree in psychology, don't fail her now.
It couldn't just be any anime of course, it had to be Jujutsu Kaisen, and she could hardly not do anything to help these poor sad teens.
Just got to save Riko, stop the evil brain, prevent Sukuna from incarnating or at least prevent him from taking over, and save whoever else might die between the whole Star Plasma Vessel event thingy and canon. Easy peasy when you aren't even 3 feet tall.

“Don’t act dumb Sukuna, I carried you around with me for several months just because you’ve gone off on your own now, in a different body, doesn't mean you can pretend I don’t exist!” Yuuji yells pointing an accusatory finger toward the curse.
...
“Yes I did! I brought you back to this world and l will take you back out of it” Yuji all but growls back, the curse who is now squinting his eyes back at the teen as though looking for something. The same look Uraume had been giving him not long ago, then gaining a befuddled expression to what he seems to find.
...
“When you left my body, all your energy went into my pinky finger and you became Megumi” Yuuji clarifies as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.‘Megumi,,’ the curse ponders, mumbling to himself, ‘A blessing?’ Sukuna thinks back on the content of their conversation so far with what he has been able to observe. Coming to only one conclusion, even if it sounds a little far fetched.

Megumi had known Itadori Yuuji for less than a day. Yet, He was kind, brave, and selfless. He’d defended his brother to the end, even as they fought one another. If Sukuna were to die now…what would that do to him? What kind of person would that make him into?
Surely not a better one.
“Regardless of whether he’s a vessel or not, Sukuna consumed a special grade cursed object. Regulations would mandate he dies, no matter what.” Megumi took a deep breath, lifting his chin to look Gojo in the eyes, even with the blindfold as a buffer. “But I don’t want him to die.”
Gojo was silent for a moment, even though his lips had stretched into a smile. It was rare, really, for Gojo to come anywhere close to resembling genuine emotion, and yet in this moment…in this moment, Megumi knew he was dealing with the real Gojo.
“Is that a personal opinion?” Gojo asked, with his genuine, sad little smile.
“Yes, it’s a personal opinion,” Megumi returned. “Please save him.”

“Years,” Yuuji corrected, staring blankly at the empty page of the notebook in front of him. “And…not him.”
“...Eh?”
“Well, him too, but I have another brother,” Yuuji said, all in a rush. “A half-brother. On my mom’s side, apparently, which is crazy and insane and—and two million other synonyms for crazy and insane that I can’t think of right now. He wants to meet me. I—I don’t know what I should do, Sensei.”
What a loaded question to ask. Fortunately for Yuuji, Satoru was perfect in every way, which made him the best possible mentor figure he could have asked for.

“For the thousandth time,” Megumi replied in a harsh whisper. “We are not going to scream “with this treasure I summon” and do some weird Naruto pose anytime we need out of an awkward situation! That would just make things worse—“
”How could things get any worse than that?”
Yuuji slumped as he looked to Megumi. “She’s a bit right—“
Shooting him a glare, Megumi snapped, “You didn’t use the code phrase either!”
”Dude, I can’t even remember the Eighth Captain of the Mamaraga—“
”Eight-handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga.” Immediately after saying it, Megumi grimaced as if he was disappointed in himself for remembering the whole name.
“Ha!” Nobara shouted triumphantly, though she glowered as they shushed her again. “If you think the code phrase is so stupid, why do you remember it?!”
He looked at her like she grew a second head. “Because you would dump water on me everytime I couldn’t say it in second year?”
”I got a cold ‘cause of that…” Yuuji murmured quietly to himself.
Nobara stormed over to him and grabbed his ear to yank. “And you still didn’t memorize it. Aren’t you supposed to be smart?”
Yelping at the abuse to his poor ear, Yuuji desperately replied, “At physics?! Physics has nothing to do with the Eight Sword sealed Mahjonga—“
“Eight-handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga—god damn it!"
...
Frantic knocking came from the door. “Megumi!” Gojo called out with a gleeful tone. “Megumi, bring Yuuji-kun back out! Tsumiki found your old baby books!”Megumi took a noticeable step away from the door with his fists held out before quietly muttering, “Eight-handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga.” Then, after a pause, he added, “Not a damn word.”
Nobara simply mimed zipping her mouth shut before patting the bed next to her.
Yuuji and Megumi finally made eye contact.
It was going to be a long few weeks.

Summary
After the fact, Satoru returned to look for the pink haired sorcerer.
He had thought at first that the sorcerer that saved him might have been an illusion. Something conjured up by his mind in his last moments, a handsome savior come to pull him out of the trenches and restore him to his glory. Except the boy was real, and he was lying right where Satoru had left him, looking only slightly better than he had when Satoru had started fighting Toji.
Which was to say he was lying there still, face pointed to the sky. His cursed energy was a mosaic, patently strange, exceedingly rare. For the first time in a long time, Satoru wasn’t able to read someone with the Six Eyes. Or at least, he was so confused about what he was reading that he might as well have not gotten the input at all.
One thing he knew for sure—whatever hole this boy had crawled out of, it didn’t belong to this world.

Yuuji didn't know why he was given a second chance—he just grabbed it, both hands on the wheel, and hoped that this time around...no one had to die alone.
