If there’s one word Kaveh could use to describe his life, it would be “ordinary”. Sure, the start of his life looks more like a sad drama movie with the death of his father, being abandoned by his mother, then being treated like luggage as he was passed from one relative to another. But he grew up, got a job working as a corporate slave, and became self-sufficient enough to pay his rent while not starving. Currently, his job is tedious, and the only joy in his life comes from spending his evenings at home alone, designing and building little houses in the game "My Little Aranara Friend", but things could be worse!
It becomes worse in the blink of an eye. He dies. And not only is he forcefully transported into the world of "My Little Aranara Friend", but he's also stuck in the body of a mob monster called a Fungus where his only hope of getting a human body is by levelling up.
...And also by saving the Aranara from mass extinction caused by some malevolent mysterious dark power called "The Withering" that, if left unchecked, will also destroy the world.
Fuck his life.

In which Shen Yuan flounces around the PIDW timeline in different roles and makes a mess of everything. He likes to think he helped make some things better, but he’s pretty sure he made things worse too.

If Shen Yuan could go back to redo his first meeting with Luo Binghe (Yes, the one where he pretended to be a fortune teller. No, not the one where he picked him up from the Luo River.)
He thought that it wouldn’t have gone very differently.
After all, how could he have predicted this??!
“A’Yuan,” Luo Binghe (as in LUO BINGHE) purred as he leaned into Shen Yuan’s…well, everything, really. “Would you kindly tell this lord where you’ve been for the past five years?”
Danger! Danger!! Danger!!! Important things must be said three times! And the protagonist looking like he was going to eat him alive was 100% f*cking important okay!?! Also, how the hell did he find out about his identity?!?! SYSTEM! WHAT THE F*CK??!!

Summary
Dottore is not dead. He took two months to reassemble his soul—all of it, every deleted segment, every fragment, the original and everything after—into one complete person. He has been preparing for this for thirty years.
Pantalone finds this out when a voice speaks from the dark of his empty lab.
What follows: one surgical procedure, the end of a political engagement, a royal audience that goes better than expected, Childe being left unsupervised with three children for two months, and a total of four kids who completely wreck the genetic ledger. While the first three stubbornly turn out to be absolute carbon copies of Dottore, the fourth and final arrival finally breaks the streak, looking entirely like Pantalone.
Pantalone is still thoroughly annoyed that it took four separate attempts just to get a return on his investment.

For a moment, he groggily wonders if it’d been all just a bad dream and that he was still at home when the dull throbbing from his right leg catches his attention. With a wince, he pushes the heavy covers away and sits up. He looks down at his undergarments.
These aren’t his.He doesn’t own anything that feels as soft as this or looks as sheer, the thin see-through fabric revealing the milky pale skin of his chest and the twin peaks of his nipples.
Panic rises through him. What happened to him when he was passed out? And where was he?
“Ah, good to see you awake now,” says a voice to his left.
Shen Yuan sucks in a breath, his eyes growing wide at the sight that greets him.
Shen Yuan is rescued from a beast by a lone centaur named Luo Binghe.
