It all started because of a quest, as things for demigods often do. Nico had been asked to retrieve the compass of Urania, the muse of astronomy and goddesses of both astronomy and stars. She had asked Nico to do it himself, so he hadn’t exactly been able to decline the quest.
Then while retrieving said compass he runs into a man that seems to recognize him.
And. It. Keeps. Happening.

“Decent class, but Dr. Fell has a weird sense of humour. Sometimes, he’d joke about how he knew some of the authors of the classics we were reading (all at least a century old) or how he was around back when they were being written. I’m assuming the jokes were his way of poking fun of his age, but his delivery made them seem serious, which made it less funny and more weird. Also, he showed us his card tricks in class once. They weren’t good. A few people acted impressed out of sympathy. This guy has too much time on his hands, and he’s not as funny as he thinks he is.”

The voice he hears above him is as he had expected; regal, booming, and calculated. He tries to ignore the way it makes his insides twist painfully, feeling… something he can’t place.
Suddenly, Crowley feels a gentle hand under his chin, pushing ever so slightly to guide his gaze upwards. He is finally met with the icy blue of King Aziraphale’s eyes, but, while he was expecting their cold hue, he was not anticipating being met with such startling softness. The King gives him an almost imperceptible half-smile, one that makes Crowley consider putting his helmet on to help cover the embarrassing warmth that rises unbidden to his cheeks. Then-
“Rise, Sir Crowley.”
The moment is over.

The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
